We had plumbing issues at our initial rental that could not be repaired until next week. We were immediately upgraded to a very nice condominium. We were very pleased with the rapid response in saving our Daufuskie vacation.

Great stay!

We booked this place at random. We fell in love with the island and with this house. It is very private. My two wild boys loved being out where they can run and do whataver and have fun. We throughly enjoyed our stay! And we all absolutely loved the outside shower!

Honeymoon and privacy

After a busy time planning a wedding, a honeymoon on daufuskie was what we wanted. Private, less populated, and relaxing. This cabin reminded us of a Nc/tn mountain cabin where we first dated so we knew we’d love it. Short ten minute drive to the beach, pet friendly, and an outdoor shower were all great benefits. The cart rental is a big plus. You’re right down the road from the coffee shop too which was great for mornings. Host communication was great. We had no issues during our stay but they checked in to ensure everything was great. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Birthday / Unplug Getaway

Perfect unplug Getaway! Quiet place to unplug and get away from the hustle and flow of life and just be on island time and relax. exactly what we wanted for my birthday weekend. The beach was amazing and not crowed the island was beautiful. Will for sure be back soon and have told everyone about the island.

Perfect place to stay

We loved everything about our stay at the Treehouse. It was clean, had everything we needed as far as starter soaps for kitchen and bath, towels, coffee. Outdoor shower was a nice touch! Screened in porch was a popular hang out. We loved the fire pit. It was quiet and relaxing. We definitely want to come back!

Secluded and Quiet

This was a great place to get away from everything! Secluded and quiet as if we had the island to ourselves. The house was fine, felt like we were in our cabin in the Pa mountains. The outside grounds could use a little cleaning up but other than that, it was great. Be aware if you take a pet there is an additional fee that is not mentioned on the listing.

We enjoyed this house and really enjoyed the island experience. There is a problem with the water- smells and tasted bad. We bought water to remedy that situation. It was listed as short walk to the beach but it was actually a 5-minute ride on the golf cart. Overall a nice vacation place but hope they fix the water for future guests.

Great beaches, lovely island, iffy AT&T

We loved all the adventurous parts of our stay, especially the water taxi and beaches. We felt we left all our stress behind. One big problem: the lack of cell coverage. Once we got in touch with Deb, she was super helpful, and since we arrived after the grocery was closed, she arranged another way for us to get our perishable supplies. Really awesome. I'd go again but ask about cell coverage first.

An absolute Gem of a house in a private location

Being from the country and feeling most comfortable in the woods, this house was so perfect for us. It is gorgeous inside and out. We had 3 adults and 1 child with us and I cannot even tell you how amazing our sleep was here. I have never slept so good in my life and the others in the group felt the same. The beds were so comfortable. The outdoor shower was so serene and different we also all loved using that every day too. This property had books and I was so excited to read “The Water is Wide” on the screen porch while listening to the sounds of the woods. We also enjoyed the beautiful fire pit at night with the gorgeous outdoor lighting. The kitchen has 2 days worth of coffee waiting for you. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and wrapped deodorant bars. I thought that was a nice touch. The property manager was very communicative and fast at replying. You go above and beyond Deb. We will be back. I miss it already!

Comfortable and quiet

Enjoyed the porches, deck and fire pit. Kitchen worked well, but no dishwasher except for us. Comfortable beds and plenty of storage. Great location. Looking forward to the next trip!

Another Great Time at the Treehouse

This was our second time staying at the Daufuskie Treehouse and, once again, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s quiet, yet close to everything. The house is well stocked for everything you need and there is a fenced-in area for dogs, if you need it. Our dog loves a golf cart ride, so between the dog-friendly house and the dog-friendly restaurants on the island, our pup loved the trip. Lots of paws up from us!

What a beautiful place! Daufuskie Island is a joy and the treehouse made a perfect place to stay. The home was very clean, communication from the hosts was frequent and appreciated. If you want to experience rural island life this is the place for you!!
