They kept changing breakfast location hotel needs updating

Average hotel experience, place is getting pretty dated, needs a lot of TLC, getting a little shabbier as we have stayed there over the years

the hotel was very clean, good food and the staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. We planned and staying there in the future!!'

I have stayed here many times and am always pleased . There is very little turnover with the employees and they always remember ur name and drink preference . Just s short walk to the dive shop across the street. There is a tunnel under the street so you never get rained on . The food is good and has really improved over the years. Biggest Pool on the island . The staff makes this hotel my favorite in all of cozumel

I have stayed at Hotel Cozumel and Resort many times and always look forward to the next vist, staff is great, great breakfast, nice location, not to far out but not in the middle of everything.

Meals in the all inclusive package are mediocre at best, but there is an abundance of food. The wait staff are attentive and will bend over backwards for you. The pool is filthy dirty water even though they clean daily.

I paid the same price for the trip as my friend which was all inclusive and upon arriving was told that it was an additional $45.00 per person per day. Before departing to go there i called to verify and was told that it was all inclusive.

The hotel was nice and comfortable and it's worth the price we paid. The only thing was after .we turn in our key at check out time I notice they weren't removing the all inclusive bracelets from the guest, but they remove mine. They said since I booked on the internet I didn't have a right to stay and use the facilities after check out. This bracelet lets you eat and use the facilities until departure

My wife and I stayed 11 days. The staff is mostly really nice and accommodating. The pool (largest in Cozumel) and pool area are spacious a good layout. There is also an area of man-made beach is nice and well-kept but on the smaller side of the road. As many have pointed out the ocean view is not really an ocean view. There are two restaurants one typically serves breakfast and dinner the other lunch. The restaurant that serves lunch is across the street (this is by the man-made beach). The food ranges from ok to good, but not great. The drinks are pretty good. Sometimes dinner is server outside. Two nights there was a guitarist who was fantastic. The room was clean and well-kept but a little more on the basic side. There is no fridge in the room, but there was AC and a TV with cable. The wifi was spotty, kind of slow, and sometimes just stopped. We felt the hotel was pretty centrally located but and was close enough to the mega supermarket and downtown for walking, shopping and sightseeing. There was a car rental and trips to book right in the hotel. We loved the activities and the staff that did them was great. Daily they had volleyball in pool, crazy games!, pool basketball, they had some other things that rotated like music trivia, horseshoes, water aerobics, and dancing/salsa some were during the day some were at night.

Excellent staff, price is unbeatable. Walk off the dive boat straight to lunch on the beach, then across to the main hotel and pool.

We've stayed here a few times and you cannot beat the value, especially for scuba diving. The staff makes this resort what it is, which is why we continue to return. It's not fancy, but it's great for us, clean and welcoming, what more do you need.

Pleasantly surprised at quality of food - some other reviews reduced expectations, but in fact we all enjoyed the selections. Comfortable room. Quiet crowd there albeit Spring Break - divers tend to go to bed early and not party too hard. Close (easy walking distance) to town. Good pool area and small but adequate beach. Would recommend.

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's close enough to town to walk, it's a safe area. We enjoy the all-inclusive meals and drinks, no need to go elsewhere to find good food. The pool area is very relaxing and has a nice poolside cafe and bar, they have great tacos and french fries. They also have massages onsite at the pool area in a professional setting. I had one and it was wonderful, just laid in the sun and relaxed afterward. The only drawback, I think, is there is no beach along that part of the coast, just rocks. It's great for divers and snorkelers, which is most of the people staying there.

My wife and I have come to Cozumel 30+ times over the last 20 years, and this is the place we stay the most frequently. We have come to know some of the staff quite well over the years and appreciate the friendly faces and welcoming attitudes. Although, we occasionally stay at other places on the island, Hotel Cozumel & Resort has the best combination of amenities combined with location. We really like their over-sized pool and just lounging in the pool area. We haven't gotten their all-inclusive plan in a while because we're not big eaters or drinkers, but we sometimes get their reasonably-priced lunch there at the grill pool-side. We like to walk downtown (about a mile) and try meals at the myriad of restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, but nothing fancy. We generally get an ocean-view room, but the noise from the traffic on the main road right out front can get obnoxious. We just discovered this trip that if you close the hurricane shutters, that blocks a substantial amount of the road noise. Finally, we are divers and dive with a shop called Dive with Martin. They are located another mile south, but they'll pick you up by boat at Hotel Cozumel's pier generally a bit before 8am. We've used them for 13 years and like their veteran, knowledgeable divemasters - Orlando, David, and others - and their use of small, fast boats.

The beds are quite hard and the bathrooms need some work but the people/staff are absolutely wonderful. The beach is nice but you must take a tunnel or walk across the street to get there.

Awesome location: walking distance to town and also has its own Diver pier for easy pick up. The staff is very accommodating and the food was quite good, being heavily local. Excellent value.

Hotel works well for divers in our group. Non-divers were not impressed.

We have a very short stay due we changed our travel but hotel was clean, nice, staff was helpful I could say I would go back, it is a budget hotel but pretty good.

Visited the Hotel Cozumel for the third time in November 2014 and found the same consistent value and service I have come to expect. The Hotel Cozumel has the perfect mix of dive facilities, good service, and vacation amenities. This hotel is not for those looking for endless white sand beaches and five star services, it is a good value all-inclusive the average vacationer will enjoy.

Perfect , just perfect. Great staff, rooms, food. What more could you ask for. I spend about two months a year in the Caribbean and always feel at home here
