This is my second stay at the property. I just LOVE it. Gorgeous views and fabulous location. The place is comfortable and has everything I need. I had a friend visit one night and my brother another. Everyone agreed this is a great place. We had terrific weather, so enjoyed sitting outside n the red Adirondack chairs. Lots of bird life, and both seals and sea lions made appearances in the water out front. In addition, a pod of orcas swam by. You can't count on the latter though. I have been at this rough spot many times since the early 1960s, and this is the very first time I have seen orcas off the beach. Beds and furniture are comfortable.

Impression

This place is a wonderful, peaceful retreat! Wonderful surroundings and wildlife to enjoy! The facility was clean and functional! One very minor complaint, I believe the stove/oven range should be upgraded. One of the burners on the stove did not work, and the older style coil burners can be often not even. Not overall a big deal. Bottom line, I am planning for a stay again next year!

Nine Nights on the Lagoon - Evaporated.

I wanted for nothing. My every need was anticipated and my every moment was deeply enjoyed. I remain stunned by how fast the time flew. I am grateful for the experience.

Wonderful experience!

The house was darling, exactly the way it looked in photos. The view was amazing, and we really enjoyed sitting around the firepit and watching planes heading to the naval station. Inside the home had everything we needed, and it was immaculate. Gorgeous bathroom, which was a nice surprise. We loved our stay, and plan to rent this property again. Reservations, check-in, etc were the easiest we've experienced in any vacation rental.

Fun Family Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at this beachfront Coupeville home. The kids played on the beach most of the day and enjoyed the beach toys from the garage. The kitchen was well stocked. The two bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The spacious bathroom was nicely updated and I liked the walk in shower or bathtub option. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed board games and tv in the living room, as well as the spectacular views of Mt. Baker and the Saratoga Passage.

Incredible view inside and out

Our family stayed for a few nights and loved this little home on the water. The view of Puget Sound just steps away with the backdrop of Mt. Baker is spectacular. We enjoyed the ease of going to the small rocky beach, enjoying the yard with the sounds of the water and hanging inside baking or playing games while still enjoying the view. For those with small kids, the dishware is Correlle and there are plastic cups, but no sippy cups. We came prepared with our own though. Great stay overall, would absolutely return.

Perfect

My son is stationed in Oak Harbor NAS. He was injured and had to have surgery. I rented this beautiful place for two weeks for him to have a place to recover. I flew in from NC and was planning to work remotely while he rested. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The area was peaceful. The shower was open so my son was able to get in and out without much difficultly. The view was amazing I got a visit from a bald eagle and a whale. There is also a seal that plays in the water close by the house. I wish I could add a pictures so I could share. Absolutely amazing. There is more I could say and I hope to come back in another year or twoFor another stay.

Location, Location, Location

This place was just what we needed. We chose it for the location and were not disappointed! The view was amazing! It’s close to Coupeville and all other areas of the island. We only used one of the two bedrooms. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of places to hang our things. The bathroom was beautiful complete with a spa toilet seat. There are a couple things that could be like a screen on the king bed bedroom window so it could be opened at night for ventilation and some new pots and pans are needed. Several of the ones there are in bad shape. Other than that we’d come back in a heartbeat!!

Lovely home with beautiful views Everything you need is in the home We are in our 80’s and found the appliances somewhat techy for us…ice make in particular Back stairs needs a motion detecting light Living room needs better reading lamps Kleenex and more trash cans would be nice Grass should have been cut before our arrival We were hoping to book for a couple of weeks next year but the price per night is prohibitive

GORGEOUS VIEW/LOTS OF WILDLIFE

Lovely place with expansive windows to take in the view of the sound and, lucky us in Feb, Mt. Baker in its snow-covered glory. The house is very comfortable and clean. Has pretty much everything you could possibly need. Tons of sea birds and even three harbor seals provided entertainment in the water just outside the living room.

Great Spot!

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed combing the beaches at low tide for crab shells and treasure. The location was great for getting to Coupeville, Fort Casey, and Ebey’s landing.

Best VRBO rental stay ever!

I’ve used VRBO many times for visits to lots of places, and this place was by far the best! It had everything I needed, the amenities and general decor/setup of the house was fantastic, it was super clean with a great view in a wonderfully quiet community, and even though it was right on the water it still has a fully enclosed back yard which is the perfect setup for my dog. I honestly have nothing critical to offer. There was clear communication with the owners/management, and I was pleased to not have need to contact them about anything. I will definitely be coming back. This is my official go-to rental for Whidbey Island. Thank you for the perfect stay for what for me and my dog was an important occasion. Just the getaway we needed.

Spectacular

The most peaceful cozy place with everything you could think of provided. The views are breathtaking, and we especially loved watching the seals play, the beach literally in the backyard, the wood burning stove inside and firepit outside.
