My recent stay with Vacasa was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, the experience was marked by disappointments and frustration. Let me break it down:
Partial AC: While we understand the distinction between partial and central AC, the functionality of the AC units is still critical. We had cooling issues during our whole stay in August.2. Safety Features: The fire alarm kept beeping through the night. Instead of solving the problem, they removed the smoke detector, which raised safety concerns. We believe that all safety features should remain intact throughout a guest’s stay. 3. E-Lock Malfunction: we were locked out several times, starting on the second night of our stay. That night, my son, his wife, and their 4-month-old baby were unable to enter the house. My daughter-in-law had to breastfeed on the porch due to the lock malfunction. 5. due to to exreme disconfort we decided to leave a week before our rental time.6. Compensation: They would not take responsibility and provide us with adequate compensation. Our primary concern extends beyond financial matters; it involves misrepresentation and the impact on our well-being. The refund offered does not cover even one day of rental. VRBO refunded their fee immediately but VRBO should consider not to offer Vacasa properties anymore.
