Mosquitos in room, shower curtain smelled like mildew, room was not very clean. Good breakfast. Location was great. Beach really close great Staff was ok, wanted a beach view would only change rooms for extra charge of $99.00

stayed last year when visiting Corpus...room smelled and was very outdated...will not stay here again

The staff here is generally very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. We moved from our first room, a King suite, after one night. The room had lots of ants and the sofa bed mattress had no cushion between you and the springs. The sheets had clearly not been changed after the last guest. Our second room, an interior room, was much better and cleaner. The location is excellent .

Very nice time room was clean and order brendfast was alway hot the pool was kaep clean

Not good. Fights , loud noise. Drugs. Staff very unprofessional.

Not good if your traveling with children. Hotel staff member selling Lora tabs to guests at the pool. Our family complained to management loud noise from partying. Fighting . Unable to get a good nite rest. Breakfast in the morning. They set out expired spoiled milk . Customer service not good very unprofessional.

I chose this hotel because it received good ratings online and was affordable. I am surprised it received such good ratings. We checked in and got our room assignment; the key card didn't work. When I went to get a new one, the receptionist didn't look at all surpised. She got maintenance instead of giving us a new key card. Apparently some sort of battery issue. Maintenance let us into our room while working on the key card issue. The room smelled strongly of smoke, and we had been assigned a "non-smoking" room. We have a toddler and I felt like this was not acceptable regardless. So, I went and got us a new room. Key card didn't work, again. Jeez! At this point we had driven several hours and just wanted to settle in our room. This time it was just a key card issue. We got our things settled and when I went to wash my hands, the faucet leaked. Overall, this was not a "quality" experience. The bed was comfortable enough, which was good. The main pros about this place was the bed comfort, it had running hot water, and was near the beach. The pool was okay, too. And it had a breakfast buffet- try the Texas shaped waffles. Yummy. I suppose if you are on a budget and just want some place near the beach with a pool, this place is okay. We paid $160 for the night for a king bed. Cons: not within walking distance to much other than beach; outdated decor; carpet all in hallways and rooms (near the beach??); staff did not ever apologize or offer to do anything for the inconveniences. Pros listed above.

my fiance and I stayed here because they allow pets. Aside from that fact pretty much everything else is terrible. The celing was starting to crumble, the in room hotel safe was rusted. The toilet wobbled because it wasn't connected properly. Time and the ocean breeze has really taken a toll on this hotel. The hot tub was out of order. Which was also one of the main reasons why we stayed there. Management did not seem concerned or in any hurry to get fixed.

A few stains on the the comforter and chair. The location was ideal!!!!

We went to the USS Lexington, so this Hotel is in a perfect location just a couple of blocks away. While it's not an ocean-front hotel, you can walk to the beach from the hotel. Very convenient location. There's nothing fancy about it, but the rooms were clean and the hot breakfast was good. They also accepts pets for a $20 dollars daily fee. Will definitely recommend it if you want value.

free hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, you make em waffles

I will never stay there again. The people next to us you could hear them . The hotel Smelled. The room was dirty and there was a Dead cockroach. I will never stay there again . For what they charge, it was not Worth it.

My room was plain but clean. This was a sufficient room for my needs. I would stay here again.

Went to spend our anniversary there. When we arrive our room had the view I expected which was a balcony looking towards the beach it was awesome, unfortunatly the A/C wasnt working. Called the front desk they sent a maintenance man to fix it. They changed it to another unit which they had in storage, and room was still extremely hot. We ended up in a room with a view of the parking lot. Which was not at all that I was wanting. The room in which they changed us to was so filthy. Looked as if no one had cleaned it for a very good while. Very disappointed.

Everything about this place was sad. Room was very HOT, service was poor, food was blaaa, and over all stay was just soooo sad.

It was great location walking distance to aquarium and us lexington....the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.....pool was big and beach was able to be seen from pool side

staff was very friendly and helpful. rooms were nice an

Wonderful Bay view. Nice pool. Average room. Within walking distance to USS Lex, treasure shops, and resturants.

I decided to stay at this hotel because it was right on the water and included breakfast in the morning! The place wasn't the Taj Mahal but I loved the location as well. I was really pleased with the breakfast in the morning - it smelled yummy in the morning and I was so happy to be able to walk down the hall to grab a full breakfast besides pasties and coffee. I didn't like the smell of the room - when I walked in the A/C unit smelled moldy due to the water condensation from the water near the A/C unit coming into the room.

Poor hotel maintainance, hairdryer broken, courteous staff, rooms small, good views , ok experience, paid too much for what we received.
