Shame on me for ignoring the relatively low rating of this hotel. I have given it the lowest rating I possibly can to help drive the overall rating even lower. The search results from the travel website used did not adequately reveal the type of hotel this is. That is, an extended stay inn more suited for a company looking for a cheap place to stay for temporary workers. Definitely not for someone on vacation. The rooms are only serviced once a week. The staff was totally unavailable once check-in was complete. The room was dirty, noisy, and had poor access. It smelled like the cleaning staff had merely sprayed cleaner in the bathroom without actually cleaning anything.

Horrible customer service , nasty and overall bad

It was pretty much everything I wanted from a hotel. I didn't care to get a real nice luxurious hotel since I wasn't going to be in the room most of the time, but I was pleasantly surprised about how comfortable the room was.

Our experience was good we were looking for some quiet time. Hotel was close to restaurants and malls. Not far from downtown either.

For starters, I can't give it a quarter star. This was the worst stay anywhere that I've been. I "reserved" a non-smoking room, only smoking was available. There was trash under the bed... ie, bottles, left over toys, leaves, paper, and large amounts of dirt. Half of the lights worked, tiny pillows, and it smelled like the bat-cave. Lastly, roaches everywhere!!! We arrived late at night with take-out food, we set it down for less than a minute and roaches were all over the bags! I was told it would take up to five days for a refund, but we were on a budget and couldn't really afford to go anywhere else without that refund so we stuck it out, even though my wife woke up a few times with roaches on her face. It was just for over night, but it was a really long night for all of us... never again will I or my family stay at such a nasty place... even while on a budget.

Didn't plan on staying in the hotel much so for a weekend it was OK but the restroom door wouldn't stay closed and there was no sugar creamer for the coffee or any shampoo or soap.

I was in Corpus for two days and really just needed an inexpensive place to sleep. The room was small and seemed cramped, but everything worked fine from the mini-stove to the microwave to the AC to the water/plumbing. The bathroom and kitchen area were very clean. I could wish the carpets were cleaner, but I'd brought an extra pair of socks just for wearing around the room, so it wasn't a problem for me. I didn't notice any bugs, though I did take extra precautions to ensure that I didn't make/contribute to bug problems with the food I did bring.

They charged a $25.00 deposit that could be on a credit card with a refund time of 7-10 days after departure or cash. The reservation stated that all charges would be on my initial paymrnt to the booking agent . Now the room, (1) The AC sounded like a plane taking off and landing when it came on and went off. (2) The refrigerator was dirty and ran continuously. (3) The carpet was stained in numerous paces. (4) The kitchenette did not have any cooking utensiles such as pots, pans or turners. (5) They did have eating utinsels however no way to clean them such as soap. How were they cleaned before I got there and did I really want toeat off them? (6) In my opinion the morning front desk clerk was rude and had an attitude. (7) They don't provide daily room service unless you pay an additional $5.00 a day so you only get one days supply of coffee. (8) The walls are very thin and you can here the people next door. I had a snorer the first night and a grunter the second night. (9) The TV is the od style and not a flat screen. (10) Upon checking out I had to remind the morning clerk to give me back my $25.00 deposit. She convenienly forgot if. I wonder how she could forget such a routine item like that? I called the booking agent to complain and they were very helpful. They tried to get my 2nd and 3rd night cancelled but because I could not get back to the room untl 11:15 the desk clerk told them that checkout was 11:00 and that they would not cancel the 2nd night but would cancel the 3rd night. The booking agent called them at around 10:40. I would rather sleep in my ca,r and I am definately too old for that, than stay at this hotel again.

I must say that I was very surprised by the price and the location of this motel. I was more than pleased with Victor and Blanca who worked at the front desk. They truly made it something special and made it feel like a home away from home. They exude customer service and friendliness. You should definitely hire more valuable employees to your establishment such as them. I would definitely come back and stay with you guys again. I couldn't beat a better deal than what you guys had to offer me this past weekend. Thanks y'all truly make a great team. I really enjoyed myself immensely.

Staff was rude. Room was not ready until 4PM. Floor by AC had a soft spot from water damage and we could see outside light coming through a crack on the side of the AC unit. Microvave was broken, dishes (only 2) were dirty. We stayed two nights and found out that housekeeping doesn't make the beds or change out towels unless requested the night before (which was not found anywhere in print or explained at check-in.) No swimming pool.

Same as before , convenience for me,location is great ..it's not fancy, just basic, and suit my needs.

Requested first floor due to handicap, we were given a 3rd floor room furthest away from elevator. Bathroom was dirty, footprints and all. They changed our room which did not look clean either but was better than the 1st. Sheets were dirty and we had to go get clean ones and replace. Next day, no room cleaning again and we had to get our own towels from lobby, waiting at the counter! As we waited, the guests in lobby paid a lower price than we did online.

This place is horrible a/c rattles , bed and pillows made of concrete smells , phone won't work , tv from the Stone Age , everything sticky and no room service on top of all that , I wouldn't recommend it to anyone stay away .

Not many positives about my stay. Something missing that would have made my stay more enjoyable would have been pest control. Bugs are in high volume.

The room had an odor of an old wet rug. The air-conditioner was not working and the room was not for the faint of heart. The staff corrected the problems quickly, but I don't think I'll stay there again.

This hotel was the worst place I have ever stayed at. They ended up with a wrong reservation after I had altered the reservation a week prior, we were only allowed two towels at a time so constantly had to go to the office. The people were rude and unfriendly. I would not suggest this place to anyone or stay here!

not a good experience.had to wait to get in room at 4 pm.room was not clean and was in need of repair.washed hands in sink and water did not drain. called front desk and they told us that it couldnt be fixed untill following day.this motel was not suitable for women maybe working men.

For the time we stayed there I waged a constant battle with the roaches that seemed to come out of every crack. I've stayed here in the past but have never experienced this- they need a good exterminator. Otherwise, location is good and staff was okay- only stay here if you are looking for a cheap spot to crash and have a can of Raid handy!

Not happy, carpet dirty, tub needed scrubbing, musty smell, roach problem, room phone kept ringing at 5am, a/c was not working properly!! Not recommended!

It was pretty much everything I wanted from a hotel. I didn't care to get a real nice luxurious hotel since I wasn't going to be in the room most of the time, but I was pleasantly surprised about how comfortable the room was.

roach motel at its best

I was in Corpus for two days and really just needed an inexpensive place to sleep.
