Everything was great! Great place for families. Housekeeping was wonderful. A hot tub would be nice.

Beautiful property and spacious rooms.. The staff at both hotel and the restaurant were helpful. However, the restaurant on site had a pretty disappointing food.

The hotel and room is showing its age. The bathroom door was warped enough that it wouldn't close fully. The sink drained slowly as well as the tub. The furniture was very dated and showing its age. Overall a run-down feel and not at all what I expected based on other Coast hotel experiences and the value of what was paid for the room. The breakfast did not have much variety either, no eggs, sausage, bacon or hashbrowns. The sliding glass door to the patio latch did not work to lock the door, there was a wood stick used to secure the door closed. It was nice having beach access, location was good. I would have given 2.5 stars if option was provided. The pillows were okay, and the bed was okay. Lights worked, wall decor was no better than the furniture. Staff were friendly. Very small parking lot and was busy so we parked on the street but free street parking so not too inconvenient.

Our stay was extremely disappointing due to a severe ant infestation throughout the property. Ants were everywhere on the floors, in the bathroom and bedrooms. The problem was so bad that we had to vacuum constantly from morning until night just to keep them under control. The infestation significantly impacted our stay. My wife barely got any sleep because of the constant concern about ants appearing throughout. To make matters worse, the caretaker had to interrupt and visit during our stay to spray bug spray, which was both inconvenient and ineffective in resolving the issue. There were also issues with amenities that were advertised or expected to be available. The firepit shown in the listing was out of service and could not be used during our stay. In addition, the BBQ grill was so dirty and poorly maintained that we never even considered using it. What makes this experience even more frustrating is the lack of follow through from management. While we were staying there, we were told that they would discuss the situation and adjust the price or provide fair compensation for the inconvenience. However, as soon as we checked out, communication stopped completely and our messages have gone unanswered. We paid for a comfortable and relaxing stay, but instead spent our time dealing with a pest problem, and unable to enjoy some of the property’s amenities as shown in the photos. I sincerely hope other guests do not have to experience what we went through.
