The staff were very nice. They kept our bags for 3 hours after the checkout as we were in a tour. Definitely recommended. The area is also very close to evrything

Clean rooms ... A bit noisy, with it being a small town, there are roosters singing and dogs barking quite often. If you don't mind that, it was a pleasant stay... Felt safe at all times. The whole town of Bacalar is very safe. Locals are very friendly.

Easy check in although we tried to pay with card and the card reader wasn’t working for us. They have filtered water around the property which helps with those hot days. The room AC worked well, the water got hot immediately. The wifi was great and didn’t go down the whole time we were staying there. Short walk to everything.

La aparencia del hotel se mira bien pero la cama solo tenia una sabana y las toallas un poco viejas el recepcionista cuando me registre me quedo a deber el cambio y salimos y seguia sin cambio asi que nunca me regreso mi dinero del cambio.

cheating with extra charges

nobody speaks English. Not a single word. I used Google Translate and then I realized that they asked for extra 711 pesos (CAD $53). I asked what exactly those charges are. The lady called somebody several times and I had to ask again to explain what are those charges. Finally I received the key after 30 minutes. No extra charges. Luckelly it was the only hotel which tried to charge exra. All other hotels never asled me for any extra charges during my stay in Mexico.

Great place for a budget

Great place to stay if you are on a budget. The place is clean and the staff is really nice. It is not fancy at all but it has hot water and the internet is great. I would stay there again.
