Outside enjoy the sunshine on the deck and spacious waterfront lawn. Swimming is a must with the perfect sandy beach bottom. Sleeping 13 - with 4 cozy bedrooms, including a queen bed, bunk bed, king bed, twin bed, and full bed, everyone will find their own slice of comfort. Great summer cottage! We were in the area for a wedding on the lake and it was the perfect set up. Agree with other guests to bring water shoes. The lake is amazing but does have a rocky bottom near the shoreline. House had plenty of room for our party of 7. Nice pier and we were able to rent a pontoon boat and tie off. Thanks again :)

Relaxing trip

The house had everything we need. We appreciated the floats and pool noodles. We recommend anyone visiting bring swim shoes with them as the water bottom is sandy but with rocks that have small zebra mussels that can cut your feet (as many lakes in Michigan have). The water of Diamond Lake is very clear and warm. We brought our badminton net and played badminton on the grass. Great trip!

Bday weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at Stacey’s home. The place was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. The lawn was great and right on a shallow sandy swim area. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive answering all of our questions, and check in was very easy. Great spot overall on Diamond Lake!

Diamond Lake Getaway

We needed a pet-friendly place to stay on Diamond Lake while participating in a family reunion that was taking place at another property on the lake. The accommodations were very comfortable. The interior is all nicely renovated and up-to-date. We did not cook or use the kitchen, but it appears to be well-appointed. There is a lovely view of the lake from the living room, kitchen, and sun porch. The master bed was extremely comfortable. This seems to be a relatively new listing, and I think there may have been some miscommunications or procedures that need to be streamlined for future rentals. No check-in or check-out instructions were emailed to me. Upon arrival, I had to call and text the property manager for an access code. When the property manager did not respond, I contacted VRBO - first through the online chat and then through the phone representative. Eventually, the property manager emailed the codes (I was expecting a call/text), but no instructions. In addition, about six loads of dirty laundry were left, including wet towels that were molding and turning orange. I would have preferred not to have done so much laundry on my vacation. Aside from the two issues above, the property and stay were great, and I recommend it to others.
