I was offered smoking rooms only. The smell was horrible.

The staff was fantastic Great location, close to food shopping and airport. Only problem was that I booked a non-smoking room but was placed in one anyway.

Nice area. Clean bathroom. Not enough towels though

The first room smelled like paint. The room must had been painted not too long ago because the smell of paint was pretty strong. When my nostrils begin to hurt, I requested to be moved to another room. We did. The second room smelled like urine. The small was very strong. I felt embarrassed to request a second move. So I got a face towel, got it wet and cover my nose through the night. I don’t like to complain but I feel the hotel managment needs to know in order to stay in business. I need to add that there were a couple of small dead roaches the top drawer of one of the cabinets.

I am a repeat client. This time around, the room assigned to me had a smoke detector that chimed all day and night. For my 5-day stay, being a light sleeper, it kept me awake most nights. Repeated calls to the office still did not get it fixed and they failed to move me to another room.

It was not from from South Padre Island. The beds were somewhat small. The room was not cleaned by housekeeping. Overall decent place.

Nice Stay

First the cons: 1) The location is not extremely convenient. For walkers, half a mile to food stores. For drivers, the frontage road is one way away from the nearest food stores. 2) Bed size - It's really just barely a double. Two 5 ft persons could be comfortable in one bed. Otherwise spend a few more dollars for two double beds. The pros: 1) Value for the money! Especially for what you get! Kitchenette, etc. Costs are way lower than anything else. (Yes, wireless is extra, but worth it, in the long run.) 2) We were in town for a specific reason, and booked the room for a week. After the first night, an emergency in the family meant I had to cancel the last 5 nights. Orbitz and the hotel came through this time, and issued a refund.

Please wake me up from that nightmare room. No curtains on the windows. Just people car lights the entire night. Over head lighting didn’t work. No soap, shampoo, antibacterial hand sanitizers- nothing!! Dirty towel in the tub. Idk what you would call the bed, but the word mattress isn’t one of them. And the cherry on top of a sloppy Sunday, is they handed me a information sheet that said “free WiFi” and when I tried to log on( because my phone didn’t work in the building) I was going to be charged. No thanks value place/ wood whatever you call it.

Staff was friendly , room was clean , just to rest, shower and get going.

Only bad thing about the hotel is if you need fresh towels or to let paper you need to go to the front desk and ask and take in the dirty towels

Booked my room on orbitz, was pressed for time due to a death in the family had booked for 2 adukts one child non smoking double bed, i figured double bed ment king size not a small full sized bed, upon arrival rooms were not available , due go booming and were only available in smoking section i accepted because i was pressed for time, was told even the smoking room was going to need 30 minutes to clean, after about 5 minutes in the room the smell was overbearing my sister went down stairs to complain to the front desk, and she found a room in non smoking with a double bed, so what started as a horrible experience ended well in a new room .

The whole experience was awful. Checking in I was asked to come back in 30 minutes because it takes that long to check in. When I came back in 45 minutes they told me make it another 30 minutes ....mmmmmm

Male front desk worker with bad attitude if you ask for exchange of towels after 8pm, even if he was open handling other costumers & you waited after he completed serving them. He just go back of desk & exchange the dirty for the clean & wouldn't give more than 2 towels & 1roll of toilet paper at a time. Otherwise it was a great stay, no complaints.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience at our hotel. We do operate a little differently than a traditional hotel but you should still be expect great guest service and warm and inviting place to stay. I'm sorry you didn't receive that.
