My friends and I had an absolute blast at this gorgeous property. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was fully stocked with everything we could need! Highly recommend this scanning home for a family or friends trip.

Our family celebrated our matriarch’s 70th birthday at the cabin. From the moment we arrived until when we left everything was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped with great appliances and utensils. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and the bathrooms had a high-end feel. The location was perfect and very easy to get to. Last but not least, the view was spectacular. When I reached out to Gayle with questions, she was quick to respond. All in all, we had an amazing time and hope to return again.

We stayed here during new years and the location was perfect, the scenery was beautiful. Description was what we expected so we were happy about that. A few opportunities: water filter on fridge wasn’t changed so we were sure if we should use, dusty in some areas.Positives: lots of kitchenware and spices to be able to use. Incredible Views - The Perfect Weekend Getaway

Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend in October and had a blast! It was a super spacious house with plenty of common areas to hang out with a large group. Our favorite features were the outdoor fireplace, the hot tub, and the game garage! Plus we had the most amazing views of the fall foliage. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Blue Ridge. The hosts were lovely as well. Overall a wonderful experience.

Family Christmas/New Year’s

We had a wonderful time Blue Ridge is a beautiful place. The Lazy Bear cabin was perfect and everyone had a great time. It was so nice to have my family all together. It felt like our own little slice of heaven. Thank you to the owners and host for letting us enjoy the cabin and town of Blue Ridge.

Thanksgiving in Blue Ridge

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving in this cabin. The views were beautiful, plenty of space for gathering and entertainment and the owner/host was very responsive.

What a view!!

Let me just say from the start that the view from the Lazy Bear cabin is breathtaking! Everything we wanted to do was close by; hiking, orchards, shopping, white water rafting…Inside the cabin was spacious and well maintained. The kitchen had an extra large refrigerator that held all our food and had space left over. We so enjoyed having a ping pong table to play on and we also had plenty of room for playing cards and board games. Plenty of room to sleep too. Our visit was a dream come true!

Girls Weekend

Our stay at The Lazy Bear was fantastic!!!! The house is amazing and the view is spectacular!!! I have never stayed in a property that was more stocked with everything needed!!! This is our yearly girls winter get away and it was SO fun!!!! We said that next year we need to stay an extra night! Two nights was just not long enough. Loved that it was only 5 min. to downtown Blue Ridge. The annual Chili Cook-off was taking place in downtown, so it was hopping with lots of folks. Several of the girls are already planning to rent this property for their families!!! Just awesome!!! Will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful Cabin

The cabin was exactly as described. Very clean, close to downtown, and the most beautiful views! It is equipped with everything you may need. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful house and awesome location.

Stayed two nights with my wife and three adult friends. First off, the house is gorgeous and the location to Blue Ridge was awesome. The Nightly rate was fairly expensive so we booked this specific house for a few reasons that really mattered to us, number one -The Party Deck! We’re a group of over 50’s that still like to party. The only downside was the owner clarified to us after we paid that “No Smoking” meant - “Nowhere on the premises”. We had to walk off the property on the other side of the road to smoke. We are mature people and certainly understand smoking in a house or even on a deck where smoke can roll into the house would not be good, but saying no smoking on the land, “like next to the very nice fire pit 50’ from the house” was not allowed either. A little over the top for me. I reserved the house and am an ex smoker, but felt bad for the others that did obey the rules and walk across the street. But….if you’re non-smokers, this house is really nice and I highly recommend. 😊

Beautiful Property

I can't say enough positive about this house. Everything was as it was advertised. Beautiful! Very close to down town Blue Ridge but had a remote feeling at the same time. Would highly recommend and would definitely rent again.
