Hi there, just a few things that I feel should be mentioned:
Only one TV remote can be found, just the one for the queen bedroom.
A handle on a dresser in the king room fell off.
The showerhead in the king master bath is broken.
There is a large very active wasp nest in the garage.
There are like 30 dead/dying flies in the queen bedroom - I guess I am wondering what was sprayed in the bedroom to kill them as our 6 month old baby had open heart surgery and we worry a little extra about his health and what he is exposed to.
That is all we have found so far and want to make sure no one thinks we caused any of that.
Overall, for the extra form and extra fees per person and just strictness and how unwelcoming that all makes a guest feel, this has left a really bad taste and I definitely would not stay here again, especially for the extra cost. We were sort of backed into a corner with booking because we lost two bookings before this when homeowners decided to sell or renovate, so I chose to look past the extra steps and fees as we were on a time crunch. But all this extra stuff has me very disappointed. For it being the most strict rental I have ever booked, I expected more.
Their response: There should be remotes, we don't spray for flies + late checkout. While we went above and beyond in our cleanup (stripped beds, started load of towels, didn't leave a review) 3 weeks later they file a claim for an entire BED. Almost comicql.
