Great location and a beautiful, unique house. Some things need attention to make it a five-star stay. For the price, my expectations are a little higher. The fridge wasn't working, which we didn't realize until the morning, and we ended up losing a lot of the groceries we brought with us. The host quickly responded and gave us a small refund, which was very nice. Luckily, there was a second fridge outside, but that one was too cold and ended up freezing our replacement groceries. We were able to make it work but it was frustrating to not have a place to properly store food. The kitchen is well and thoughtfully stocked; some pans could use replacement, especially one that had a thick layer of food burned to the bottom, and was put back in the cabinet. A little off-putting. The beds were super comfy, the TV room is great, and the Wi-Fi is very fast. The grounds are fantastic. It is situated pretty close to other homes, but was very quiet and felt private. It's an older home, so there are expected quirks, but I wish some of the details were attended to. Easy check-in, lots of nearby things to do, a beautiful spot, and a very responsive host .
