It was very nice. Good dining. Comfortable room and good location.

Very nice stay: clean room and very welcoming and helpful staff.

The location was very convenient, but the setting with gardens and a hiking trail made it exceptional, I can say enough about the staff. Hospitality above and beyond. The lady at desk remembered us and was very accommodating trying to assist when I twisted my ankle. The restaurant and bar were also top notch. 5 stars all around!

Great!!!! We really enjoyed the black, out Curtis, mother cool room, the dog walk and an in house restaurant!!! Plus we were 15 minutes max from anywhere

Very comfortable, clean, updated room and nice beds. Value is very high.

Great stay! Not much close to hotel but only about 10 minute drive on expressway to downtown. Staff helpful, room clean and the pool and gazebo area were beautiful and so nice to hang out at when we were back at the hotel for some downtime instead of just being stuck in your room. Great alternative to downtown (more pricey) lodging. Only complaint was no free breakfast like most other similar hotels.

Everything went smoothly and the room was very nice. Will stay there again.

We stayed here for the weekend and loved how friendly and attentive everyone was. The fastest check in and check out process I’ve ever encountered. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were nice. The only thing I’d have to say badly about this hotel is the beds were kind of hard but other than that great view of the mountains, great location, great staff & we had a great time.

I got in at night and had no idea the mountains were surrounding me! It was a great surprise to wake up to! Nice room with mini fridge and microwave overlooking the mountains. Nice decor throughout the hotel and outside. Nice waterfall near the front door. Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant. The staff seated you, and got your drink, but then the breakfast was a typical buffet style (included).

The hotel is doing a face lift and needs to let folks know that before booking. Otherwise, great place, location, room. Yada yada yada.

Hotel is being remodeled! The big owl reataurant is closed. The pool area is also under construction and not open for guests. We booked this hotel after going thru dozens due to the ambiance of the outdoor seating and looked forward to some drinks at the end of our day . We were disappointed to have to have drinks in the conference room which is where they are serving food and drinks now under a new name parkway grille. The room was clean and nice so if you want to stay for just the sake of a room this place is fine. I was told construction will be complete mid May. I think the rate is too high for a hotel that is not fully operational

We really got value for our money . Great location , easy access to all areas , clean rooms , good breakfast . Front desk staff could have been a little friendlier .

Great Hotel, everyone was very friendly, I think the area is just expensive all around but it was an average hotel at the price they were offering for one night.

There is a wonderful walking trail at the back of the hotel which includes a rustic swing. This is also a dog friendly hotel.

Clean, quiet and quaint! A cute variation on a good chain. The room was cozy and clean, but the shower floor needed to be redone and the buffet food for the free breakfast was not nearly hot enough. I thought it was a bit expensive for what it was, but the location was great! Especially if you are hoping to avoid downtown Asheville.

We made a last minute decision to do a college visit and were told by my relatives that they had stayed at this hotel many times when their son had attended the school. I took their word for it and booked immediately. We arrived late and tired, but were delighted with our room and the front desk staff. We will definitely stay here again if our daughter attends the college.

Really different from the other holiday inns, it's been updated but it's kept it character. The pool is huge with a gazebo and great view if the mountains. Super clean, the staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was great and free. About five minutes from downtown Asheville.

Very good breakfast Sunday morning! Checked in at 5pm after touring the Biltmore Mansion. Our reservations were waiting for us and they checked us in asap! Can't wait to use Holiday Inn again!

It was wonderful! The hotel had a lot of character that is unique to the mountains. A great overall stay!

Solid hotel, nothing outstanding but nothing obviously wrong.
