My recent stay
Booked this hotel as it had decent reviews. My bed was comfortable & hot shower with nice smelling shower gel etc. I was really disappointed that each night I returned to my room to find it hadn’t been made up. As I use hotels each week for work, this is normally done. I learnt when checking that I had to let reception when checking in, if I wanted my room made up. That’s ok, if I was told that when at check in. That communication really needs improving! We also used the Cast Iron on-site restaurant to save driving and food was ok but very expensive £17 for bowl of pasta!

The staff were all very courteous and helpful, from the receptionist, to the cleaner who showed us to our room, the head waitress in the breakfast restaurant and the Brew Bar staff. We will now make this hotel our preferred stay whenever we stay in London!

Family Visit
Be aware that the Spa and Pool at this hotel are now closed. Also, unlike any of the other hotels ive stayed in since covid, rooms are not serviced daily. You have to request it at reception. I did this at check-in but it got forgotten by the hotel and, after a long day at my Mother's funeral, i had to chase housekeeping/ reception to get the room serviced. Staff in the dining room were excellent, both at dinnercand breakfast.
