£14.00 to park your car overnight!!
Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean with lovely staff!! What’s not to like you ask……,firstly, being charge £14.00 on arrival to park our car. Had I known, I would have dropped icar at Glasgow Airport car park which I had already booked for 07:00hrs the following morning - probably adding approx £2.00 to my total for 1 week. Secondly, no drinks menu on table - there is one on bar and barman said…..,,you’ll need a magnifying glass to read it…..he wasn’t wrong! Following our meal, which was ok after waiting 1 hour for it - I went to bar to pay bill. Bearing in mind, I always tip staff even if service isn’t the best. Howeve, when bill handed to me, I noticed there was a 12.5% service charge included - this in Scotland I believe, is not legal without informing customer first……and I believe the customer should have option to refuse and give own tip/or not? Please correct me if I’m wrong! When I mentioned to staff, they really didn’t know and said their manager usually dealt with this, but wasn’t on duty!! Needless to say, we won’t stay at this airport hotel again.

Only complaint is that the website advertises a shuttle to the airport. There is NO shuttle. However, it's about a 5-7 min walk to the airport from the hotel.

Excellent service - reception, housekeeping and restaurant. Clean and elegant rooms, great ambience, food reasonably priced although breakfast could be cheaper, staff professional and helpful, very courteous. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
