Nice place for the money.
We had a room opposite the parking lot. It had a beautiful, quiet open space with trees and bushes and mountain view. There is a wonderful walking trail along the river. The lodge wood, stone fireplace, rustic décor, and beautiful mountain view of the Great Room is a cozy place to sit and read or to enjoy the breakfast. Quiet and safe a few miles from downtown.

The property was within easy access to town and very quiet. The downside is that it is dated in it's appearance and rooms.
You get what you pay for in Steamboat. Hotels are expensive and this hotel is a good deal for the town for mid grade accommodations. There is a great hiking/bike path right behind the hotel that follows along the river for a few miles in each direction. Rooms where clean.

There was nothing overly special about our stay, but it was affordable, and clean. Having breakfast included was a nice perk.
This is a pleasant property that is well maintained and comfortable. The rooms are large with enough room to move about, and everything was clean. The common areas are a bit worn. Breakfast was along the lines of a continental breakfast but it was perfectly adequate. Every room has a mini fridge, which is nice.
The location is great, staff was very friendly but the continental breakfast could’ve been better. We showed up for breakfast before 9 and almost everything was gone and there were very few protein options, plenty of carbohydrates. If you like waffles, donuts and muffins then you’ll love this breakfast. Other than the breakfast it was a nice, basic place to rest our heads.
Enjoyed the mountain lodge feel. Rooms are large. Staff is friendly. The linens are really nice, the towels are plush.
Parking was difficult on the weekend and checkin took a long time.
Stunning views, helpful staff. Rooms were tasteful, functional, not fancy. Heating system was effective with excessive noise. On outskirts of town but close to skiing and all amenities.

There is a City Bus stop right out front of the Steamboat Hotel that will take you up to the Mountain as well as downtown.
