Location location location
Rooms were not sound proof. We were on the 2nd floor. People upstairs could be heard clearly as if they were in our room. Noise from the street bar next door carried all day into the night. Location is great. Walking distance to everything. But if you are looking to relax. This is not the place.
Very impressed with this place was Leary about the negitive reviews but staff was very friendly place was clean and big ! Would definitely recommend. Members of the wedding party were jealous of my accommodations! Ty
Everything was perfect-just bring earplugs! This renovated historic mill was dimply outstanding in every way any one could ask for. Top shelf all the way. However you could hear everything going on above you , below you, across the hall, down the hall…like it was in your bedroom. The pillows were firm and high and hurt all of our necks. We had 2 suites and loved the views, the spaciousness, the lovely kitchenette, the nice living area…the immaculate nature of all of the property. We would definitely stay heat again but would bring our own pillows and earplugs. The accomodation is magnificent otherwise:
Great Location, I hardly ever post a review but was disappointed in my stay. I got rooms for 3 of us for a photo shoot in Newport. Yes I own a small business so know these reviews count. The person checking them in the hotel made the process much more difficult since the last name was not correct in the check in but the phone number was the same for all of the reservations I made. I had a long call with her to insure it was the room for my friend. Maybe the system they use needs to updated to make the process smoother. Also asked if a later check out was possible but a stern 10am was the policy was stated. Not even a little wiggle room? I get it but there is no way that all the rooms get turned over at 10 am. I felt the check in / check out process could have been easier. again, great location. Rooms need a little update but if your with kids its a good place to stay.
