Poor maintenance, average minus breakfast.. rooms are very small and outdated
Like that the elevator use keys didn’t like that the ice machine on my floor was not working
I spent two nights at EVEN hotel Brooklyn and the list of items broken or non operational in my room was adding up. At first, my in room mini fridge was not cooling and even after getting it checked by their staff I was told that it's not meant to get that cold (definitely a lie). I ended up having to get an ice bucket and ice from the lobby to keep my baby's milk cold during my stay. Then the window was open to allow for an input to an AC unit which was not needed in November. I had to remove the AC output pipe to close the window and not freeze this was after spending the whole night with a cold and crying baby. Then the water stopped working entirely during day two and I had to resort to using bottles of water. These were the major things but other minor items were also broken or in disrepair in my room. EVEN hotels should be ashamed for the state of their rooms and hotel.
The staff was super friendly/kind, we were close to the train, and the bed was clean. The only thing that we didn’t love is that the windows had a ton of prints all over it, the back of the bathroom mirror had clear dirty drips of water on it (you could see it with the vanity light on, there was writing on the wall that looked super out of place. What made us giggle was the cricket printed “live, laugh, love” style printed images around the room.
The location is convenient and the hotel is quiet.
I had a room on the second floor and you could hear the sound of the subway rumbling under the building which kept me up most of the night.
Great hotel in downtown Brooklyn. Great lobby and gym.
The staff was great. The building was clean. The distance to Barclays Center.
This hotel was a pleasure to stay in. The place was quiet and clean, and the staff was great from the check in to housekeepers and maintenance staff. I would stay here again.
The staff was very kind and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Also, the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
Front desk staff very very helpful. Made sure we got online ok while still at their desk. We bought "breakfast included" and it was extremely healthy and tasty. There's fitness equipment in every room! Cons:. Can't sleep with all the light! 1. Alarm clock might extremely bright and cannot be unplugged! Had to pull out and cover with a coat. 2. Strobe-like device on wall above tv sends out laser-like bright light every few seconds 3. TV has red light shining toward bed.
So convenient to so many locations. LOVED the 7-minute walking distance to Barclays. So many eats & shopping near us. Great value for ur dollar. The staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful. Breakfast was a highlight. I would just love a microwave in the room or a way to be able to warm up take-hm food in the hotel. Thank you for your hospitality! We’ll see u next time around!
There were many things I liked about this place, but it was too hot in my room. Management had switched the a/c off globally, and in spite of being 50 degrees outside it was 75 to 80 in my room and hard to sleep. The thermostat was dysfunctional due to the global setting overruling it. Frustrating, because otherwise this was a nice stay.
They need to put up accurate and honest rules regarding rooms and parking it’s very misleading and also state the real amount due at hotel
