Great Place in the heart of Gran Via
We had a wonderful stay at Aloft Gran Via over Christmas. First, it’s in great location and just a short walk to the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and all the shops and theaters along Gran Via. It’s a short metro ride to the Prado, Parque De Retiro, and Santiago Bernabeu. The hotel staff is terrific. From everyone at the front desk to the amazing housekeeping staff, Aloft is a clean, modern, and welcoming hotel. You’ll be comfortable if you only speak English, but everyone will gracefully indulge your bad attempts at Spanish too. They certainly did mine.

Awesome location, Great staff.
Excellent location with a friendly staff. Some parts of the hotel are being renovated but that didn’t affect us. Huge shout out to their front desk / reception staff for being caring, helpful and extremely polite. Not all rooms have a good or any view.

This hotel is located in a very convenient area. It is walkable to many points of interest and shopping area. Hotel is clean and room is comfortable. The receptionists are very friendly. Cecelia is the best one I have met.

Overall the room, bed, staff and breakfast were great. However, because there were no room-darkening shades, the room was very bright all night. Otherwise, it was perfect.
