The staff was fantastic, the location was amazing, and the closeness to all the transit options was fantastic. However, the first room I stayed in had a malfunction with the Air Conditioning and water dripped all night. They tried to fix it, but it was clearly a pre-existing issue so instead they moved us very quickly... to a room where the AC did not work at all. Again they tried to fix it quickly, but the noise and wild swinging of the compressor/heat exchanger trying to adjust was obnoxious. My parents stayed in a separate room and also had many issues with heating/cooling and their televisions. Again they tried to fix it, but reactive solutions to problems when your guests are there are just silly and it's clear to me that whoever holds the purse strings here is hamstringing their staff. Final words... I really cannot fault the staff for these issues, they did all they could, but this particular property is clearly pinched by poor decisions from management. It's a shame, but I would never stay at a Locke property again based on this location's many issues. I will stay in a hostel next time for 1/3 the price; at least then I can justify the discomfort. To the managers; do better and stop focusing on your lousy bonuses and cutting costs... you already make enough.

We stayed in an accessible family suite and we wished the bathroom situation was disclosed prior to booking and we would have booked somewhere else. The whole entire bathroom flooded after shower and water stayed in the bathroom. We are frequently travelers and have never seen situations like that. Imagine going to the bathroom at night walking completely wet floor and water everywhere even around toilet and no tool in the bathroom to facilitate the water go down to the drain. There are risk falling accidents waiting to happen.

I enjoyed my stay at Leman Locke and probably will return. It has nice thick doors that blocks out any sound and the view was spectacular.the shower was plenty hot and had a great water flow. Having the laundry on site was another plus. Where I took a point down - the floor needs to be wiped clean with water. There was a caked on ketchup stain. The sofa was sunken in. The bathtub has a very high lip so one may need caution to get in and out.

Loved the room - it was clean and spacious, definitely more than we were expecting! It also is right next to the Aldgate East tube station, which is super convenient. The garbage cans were a little small, especially for a week-long stay. Other than that, really no complaints - check-in and check-out were super easy and the staff was friendly!
