First time staying in the downtown area and I enjoyed my stay. It's walking distance to a lot of restaurants so it's really convenient.
Mid-century feel—hardwood floors, tiled shower stall. The room is comfy enough for 1 and can easily accommodate 2. The room has a small square table with 2 chairs, queen size bed and an ottoman at the foot of the bed. There are modern features too--a microwave, fridge, a Keurig coffee maker and even an old style push button phone from the 70s. Depending on location of your room, there was little natural light and was a bit dark.
They offer breakfast from 7-10 daily...a selection of hot buffet items (bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes), make your own waffle & a variety of bakery items.
Definitely a good place to stay and close enough to the UO campus, a 20 minute walk to the East Gate, but only minutes by car.
I would recommend staying here.
