Location for my event and amenities were great. Only thing which spoilt the stay was a broken bath/shower tap. Reported on the day arrival, no attempt made to fix it so had to take matters into my own hands and tape it up to stop it running or I would of had no sleep with a constant running water

Spacious rooms adjacent to bar and restaurant.
Check in took a while as reception was dealing with awkward customer on the phone. Room spacious and clean with ample power and usb points. Good shower. Reasonable menu although it seemed more limited than last year so when staying 4 nights this may be an issue. That being said plenty of other dining options within walking distance. Ample parking.

We stayed here a few years back and qere really happy with everything. This time the hotel seemed rundown. Paint is falling of the walls in places and it is not as clean. The place could do with an overhaul. The window in our room didn't close you could push it open. We had a Carvery in the restaurant which wasn't up to usual standard either.

For us, the hotel was a one night stopover before needing to be at the airport the next day. So, for that purpose it was serviceable. The rooms have a run down look to them. I’m guessing it’s an old building because it makes some odd noises. The faucet in the shower wouldn’t stop running all night. The hair dryer didn’t work and one of the outlets didn’t work. All that being said it’s a good value for a brief stay.

Great place to stay, very clean room and bathroom, nice price. Walkable distance to the coffee shops etc. Very nice and friendly staff, also help you no matter what the time is - I was checking in late at night. Great communication while contacting the help line of the property. Definitely would stay here again.

Made feel bad after our stay
We spent one night and although it was comfortable and restaurant staff friendly we were disappointed by getting a phone call accusing me of smoking in the room. I haven’t smoked in over 20 years. They wanted me to pay them more money saying they had smelt smoke. How can you accuse someone of something when it could have been something else they could smell. Maybe something coming from the outside as we did have the window open as it was warm

Complete failure to make twoo singles one
Unfortunately very disappointed after entering room. I specifically rented a double bed Because im disabled and seeing two single beds pushed together in efgort to make One fouble was surely and utterly a failed attempt. I was in chronic pain for considerable time Which prevented me from tryin to have blunder rectified But also knowing it would not be because No more room were available. Nevertheless i will Not use this establishment again or my family and friends.

Everything was outstanding! There is a bar/restaurant attached to the hotel, and several other restaurants in walking distance. there is a Train station a 7-minute drive that takes you to many locations. 5 stars! Would stay again

Decent place to stay …. no elevator; no fthough.
Overall good place to stay. One suggestion, they should write clearly at the front desk to go next door restaurant for the check-in. I waited good 20 mins, ringing the bell next to the shut-down reception window and no one responded. Finally just walked up to next door to inquire and found that’s where the check-in happens. The guy was very friendly though. Good that we arrived before the restaurant closed. Not sure what happens when a guest shows up after the next door restaurant closes (I think at around 8:30pm).
