The stay was amazing the only down I have to say about is the parking we booked the room why would we have to pay to park our vehicle with cash it’s 40 bucks and on card it’s 50 like only people who are staying in the hotel can park their why make your guests pay more.

The hotel pics are nothing like the way the hotel looks now. The hotel has definitely lost its feature you can smell all the mold throughout the room, I plugged in my straightener and the lights to the restroom started flickering so had to turn the lights off over in that area, plus now Austin charges you an additional parking service fee on top of your hotel fee. Would definitely not recommend the stay here and definitely not looking to come back to this hotel.

Overall it was exactly what we needed for a quick overnight trip to Austin. Staff was kind. Valet was $45 so we opted for street parking which ultimately cost about $30 and wasn’t convenient. Only complaints about the room would be the very stale cigarette smell that was unavoidable upon entry and the paper thin bedding- the “comforter” was literally just a waffled textured sheet. Would honestly stay here again assuming the price was low and I just wanted a bed to sleep in- would bring my own blankets though.

I don’t know what other reviews were expecting. For the price, this was a great option. Staff was kind and helpful, the room met all my needs, location was great and there was a robust breakfast selection. Don’t stay here if you need more than the simple things, but if you’re easy to please, this is a great option.

The included breakfast options are extremely limited; the door between the outside and the corridor doesn't self-close and is very noisy when it shuts. There are no shops nearby, but this isn't much the fault of the hotel owner.
