Property is nice, but ordinary. Close to 6th Street. Rooms clean and good size for family. Most of staff was very friendly. Bar staff was excellent. Evening valet service was very poor - not greeted or offered help upon check-in. Took too long to retrieve vehicle. Pool is tiny.

This is not a Hyatt issue, I don't think, but there was a delay with the expedia payment arriving. The Hyatt staff handled it all perfectly.

First time in Austin and would definitely stay at the Hyatt House again. Conveniently located within walking distance of Sixth Street and several excellent restaurants and music venues. Far enough away to be out of the downtown hubbub.
