This Keukenhof flower garden tour is also fun for the children. They will have a blast with the treasure hunt, petting farm, maze and the playground. Keukenhof is a fun day out for all the family! There are tons of ways kids can have fun at the park alongside roaming amid the paradisiacal bulbs. Children have the time of their lives at Keukenhof!
Flower Power is Keukenhof’s 2019 theme. Flowers inspire. At Keukenhof flowers connect people from across the globe who come together to enjoy the tulips, smells and colours. The Netherlands is famous for its bulb fields and the many flowers cultivated there. Bright colours, hippies, peace & music. Flower Power has that early 1970s vibe. Discover how tulips ended up in the Netherlands, design your own bulb mosaic and become a true tulip expert. Take part in the treasure hunt through the park, come climb and clamber all over our adventurous play equipment or glide through the air on our zip-line. The animals at the petting zoo love to cuddle.
After the Keukenhof the driver will bring you to the great Windmills. The Zaanse Schans is a residential area in which the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. Stroll past the bakery museum and enjoy the smell of fresh bread, or take a look at the warehouse where clogs are made. You should be sure not to miss the cheese factory, pewter foundry and the various windmills. The Zaanse Schans is a unique part of the Netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, cheese factory, barns and workshops. Make a cycling or sailing trip, browse the shops or treat yourself at the pancake restaurant. A day out at the Zaanse Schans in North Holland is fun and educational.
