What you can expect
Grand Cayman is a small island with many wondrous sights to see. Make the most of your visit by taking the time to see highlights such as the Turtle Farm, Rum Cake Center, and even the ominous town of Hell with its eerie limestone formations. Tell your friends how you went to “Hell” and back.
The tour begins with a drive to the district of West Bay, famous for its historic and traditional Cayman-built houses which resemble gingerbread houses. See the bountiful native fruit trees and the lovely resorts on Seven Mile Beach as you cruise along this strip.
Your first stop is at the Cayman Island's Turtle Farm, where you see the home of newborn hatchlings, touch and hold small sea turtles, and take pictures of some that weigh as much as 600 pounds (272 kg). Your knowledgeable guide explains the conservation efforts made by the farm. Next, you get to visit the town of Hell and witness the hell-like limestone formation. Take photos of the devil and have a “Hell of a time.” Maybe taking a moment to send friends at home a postcard from “Hell.”
Your tour wouldn't be complete without tasting some of the samples at the Rum Cake Center in George Town. On your way back to your hotel, catch a glimpse of where the Governor of the Island resides.
