What you can expect

Drive with jeeps to one of the largest sanctuaries of the god Apollo in Bulgaria. The most mysterious, the most magical, the most powerful energy places in this mountain. Monumental constructions, objects of national importance, places of mystical and ancient rituals of Ancient Thrace.Mishkova Niva is located in Malko Tarnovo, near the border with Turkey, behind the border fences. On the territory of the place is a Thracian sanctuary, part of a complex archaeological complex, which includes several archaeological sites including two dome tombs, a fortress, a fortified Roman villa and ancient mines.

The highest point in the Bulgarian territory of the Strandja Mountain is the “Goliamo gradishte” peak - 710 m above sea level. The peak is named after a fortress built here from ancient times. It served as a shelter and watchman of the guards in the region during Roman times. It is built of various sizes and shapes of stones, tightly arranged next to each other. It reveals a few remains of rooms

The “Goddess Bastet” Sanctuary is located in Gradishteto (the highest peak in the Bulgarian part of the Strandja Mountain) west of the town of Malko Tarnovo. The origins of this object are quite controversial among scholars, and many archaeologists have suggested that it actually has nothing to do with the Egyptian goddess Bastet (known as the daughter and woman of the sun god Ra and e depicted as a cat-headed woman) but a ritual place of the ancient Thracians (not long ago, a Thracian complex dating back to the 5th century BC was discovered in the Mishkova niva area).

Indipascha is a supposedly ancient Thracian rock venue located near the village of Slivarovo on the territory of Strandja Nature Park According to the verbally legend, the residents of the village of Slivarovo say that after centuries of oblivion, the spring of healing water gushing beneath the rocks of the cult site was accidentally discovered by a blind buffalo owner. The animal served its farmers for many years, but outdated and blind. The owner did not want to kill the outdated animal, so he released it in the woods. A few days after he was released, the bull returned to see. It's been a while, and because of old age, the animal was blind again. Thus, the miraculous “viewing” of the bull repeated several times, while the owner decided to follow him to unravel the mystery. So he reached the rocks, which was dripping water that gathered in a small pond.
