Lots of dirt and rocks between lounge chairs and pools, never swept. Overall most staff did not seem to enjoy their job. We called three times to have our mini bar stocked with water as it had not been stocked before our arrival, never got stocked we went to concierge to get water ourselves and then had to take it back to our room. We left to have breakfast and upon returning three staff were in our room and cutting a hole through the bathroom wall, no prior notice and we couldn't relax in our room as there was concrete dust and saws going. The bathroom was not cleaned when they were done and we had to seek out cleaning staff later to clean up. Glad we came back when we did so I could remove tooth brushes from the dusty bathroom before it got too bad!

Our anniversary celebration at Kanan Tulum was absolutely magical! The staff went way beyond to make it special, with lovely surprises in our beautifully designed room and an unforgettable dinner at the treetop Nest, surrounded by breathtaking views. The food was excellent, and the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating, taking the time to understand our preferences and personalize our dining experience. The unique treetop nests for relaxing and dining make this hotel truly one of a kind. Exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful memories. Thank you, Kanan, for making our stay so memorable!

I would definitely recommend. It is my second time that I go there!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at GR Solaris Caribe, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The resort was clean, housekeeping was excellent, and the staff was generally friendly. The location was great, and check-in and check-out were easy. The spa was a highlight, with one of the best massages I’ve ever had! We also loved the themed parties and having access to the sister resort’s pool, buffet, and activities. Special thanks to Carlos for helping with our bags, Leo at the buffet, and the bartender at the Sports Club for their outstanding service. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to be downgraded from our booked king-size oceanfront room to two double beds without compensation. The beds were also uncomfortable. The DJ was unaccommodating toward song requests, drink preparation was inconsistent, and the food at Veneto was underwhelming. The resort app was another major frustration. We made dinner reservations through it, only to arrive and discover they hadn’t gone through. We also would have appreciated more information at check-in about available activities and amenities, as some advertised activities were difficult to access. The main pool was smaller than expected, but access to the sister resort helped make up for it. Overall, we had an enjoyable vacation and appreciate the employees who went above and beyond. With improvements to communication, accommodations, dining, and the app, this resort could offer a much better guest experience.

Although it is a family-friendly resort, there aren't any activities for the adults. The staff are wonderful and are quick to learn and remember names, preferences, and are very genuine. The only issue we had (if you can count it) was that the cleaning staff regularly had to be called to bring up wash cloths. Our room was cleaned daily and towels refreshed along with the mini bar restocked with soda, water & chips. We truly enjoyed our stay. It's been a long time since we had a hotel or resort with comfortable beds & pillows.
