All hotel staff members were professional and seemed to value our business. Our family consisted of three rooms and each room was very comfortable and nicely cleaned (fresh linen and restocked toiletries daily). The hotel staff were very attentive to our needs. For example, since we did not speak Japanese, when our local tour guide could not find where to park and collect us for the tour, the hotel staff members helped translate over the phone.
Another example is with regards to special touches. We wanted our party of five to travel together to the airport. Murata noticed that my 80-yr old aunt had mobility issues and she worked diligently to secure accommodations. Unbeknown to us, when the taxi arrived to transport us, it was a handicap equipped van. Wow, that was truly white glove service. Thank you to Murata and the very kind and attentive staff.
Also good location - close to the JR train station and also close to restaurants and two shopping malls (one open air stadium like mall, and then a full mall behind that open air mall).
Based on the high level of service experienced during our stay, we indeed recommend the Hotel Metropolitan.
