With a long driveway set back in the woods, the cabin has a very private feel. Located in the small subdivision known as Liberty Woodlands, it's within walking distance to the Methow Valley Community Trail (MCT) along the river and suspension bridge or choose the best trails for you within a short drive. A new ski trail (Devin's Trail) within the Methow Valley Trail system makes the property a ski in, ski out cabin. 2 bedrooms (with luxury, queen American Leather Comfort Sleeper sofa) and 2 full baths, the home features an open floor plan with high ceilings and a large kitchen and island that is great for gatherings. Other features include a river-rock gas fireplace, knotty pine paneling, large wood windows, WiFi, home entertainment system and separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Community maintained and plowed flat roads make for easy access to the cabin, especially in winter. Close to Methow River and the Methow Valley Trail system that runs along it, this home is the perfect launching point for all the fun outdoor activities the area has to offer. The cabin is located 3 miles from the Mazama store and 11 miles to downtown Winthrop.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. We have stayed here a few times. This is the first time in the Spring. Community is very quiet and hiking trails were empty. We enjoy the winter months and the energy of ski season. House is great and in great location.

Forest Oasis

Darling cabin located deep in the woods. Surrounded by forest trees. Quiet and serene. Easy check in and out. Clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped and well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for your things. Plenty of HOT water and great water pressure. Very close to hiking and a very short drive into Winthrop for groceries. Great Wifi connection and just loved the stone fireplace. Highly recommend Alpine Woods for a great adventure in the Cascades.

Mazama cabin

Home was in a great area. Close to national park which was the purpose of our travels. Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with host was easy and attentive for any of our questions. Definitely recommend as a comfortable and charming spot in the woods!

Overall, it was wonderful

Beautiful cabin and very well stocked. Clean and cozy. Checking out at 10 seems a bit early, but we managed. Also, the advertisement claimed easy access to the river. Walking distance. It's over a mile and it seems you'd have to get there through a private road. So that was disappointing.

Relaxing in the woods

The property was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet and located close to Mazama, Winthrop, and Twisp. The yard area was nice as well. I would recommend staying here to others. The WiFi was a bit spotty and only worked the 1st day. There was construction in the area,so maybe that was the cause. I would recommed buying a few more pans but otherwise the kitchen was stocked well.
