We love staying at the Wyndham Kingsgate - it's comfortable, spacious, cozy, and lots to do for the family. Our host was great - very communicative and helpful.

Everything was very clean and quiet! The only items to note was HVAC air noise was a little loud but functioned well. The playground shown as part of the resort amenities has been removed per resort staff in Tap Room and Kitchen. We had a wonderful mini vacation and hope to visit again soon!

Easy in/easy out

Normally, as a renter you are in charge of sheets/towels/dishes/trash etc... Here it's more like a resort, if you have a problem call. When you leave you can do the dished (we did), you can take out the trash (we did). Bedding and towels are replaced and washed elsewhere. The resort had an arcade, mini golf, pools, large outdoor games (chess/checkers). It's a timeshare spot you rent, so you do get asked to attend (no obligation) a timeshare meeting. I would recommend and stay again, if I go to the area.

Family vacation

We stayed in Williamsburg to visit Busch gardens and surrounding areas with our boys. We had a great stay. The property was so close to everything and super convenient to all restaurants. It was a bonus to have all the amenities right on the property as well, such as mini glof, pools, arcade, and cinema.

Great little vacation spot

Close to all the Williamsburg attractions. Kids loved the game room and the condo was a nice size for my family of 4. It was our second time at this resort and just as we expected.

Side Note

The stay, the amenities, the room, the location was absolutely fantastic. But if I knew that they were gonna sucker me into going to a timeshare sell I would’ve cut them off when they said we got a $120 worth of gift cards as long as we go. They said 90 minutes and it took the whole morning. We told them no at least 10 times that we weren’t interested in a timeshare and they still tried to get us to get one. I have never seen high pressure like this, even at the end when we were doing a survey and trying to leave they still put pressure on us to get one. But this has no reflection on the location or the place we stayed or the owners. Everything else was amazing.

overall a very positive stay........many wonderful things to say......top negatives would be cleanliness.....disabled feature of not being able to get wheelchair next to either bed and the bed was very high for a w/c bound person to get onto unable to help asst my disabled companion in and out of bed due to it took up most of the room so that was a challege and the hot water took a long time to get hot....all else was above average checkin and out awesome amenities awesome quiet most of the time...disabled sinks and shower were awesome kitchen condusive for wheelchair quality furniture plenty of space to get around nice balcony although screen door would have been nice beds comfortable parking perfect for disabled right next to ramp kitchen cabinets pretty beat up needs upgrade but all in all lovely stay we would rebook thank you

Nice weekend in Williamsburg

The apartment was just right for us! There were only two of us, but having two bathrooms enabled us to spread out a bit. Having the kitchen was great. We had breakfast and snacks in the apartment, and one night we invited four friends (who were also staying in the complex) for dinner. There was plenty of room for a pre-dinner visit and for all of us to sit comfortably around the table. The complex is located close to Colonial Williamsburg and convenient to shops and restaurants.

Great location!

Minus a few snags with an unforeseen sales presentation, this stay was wonderful. The property is no more than 15 minutes away from everything to do in Williamsburg. An unadvertised bonus is discounts at local eateries.

Fun in the sun

We visited for my brothers wedding. Our stay was great. No issues at all with our room or the resort grounds. We took full advantage of all amenities, especially the pool. The 1 ft pool was great for our 3 year old. Yes the room is a bit outdated but didn’t bother us a bit. Would definitely stay again

Great location and property

Location and property was perfect for my family. The pool and arcade were great for evenings after sight seeing at colonial Williamsburg. We were a 10 minute drive for Williamsburg and about 20 minutes from Water Country and Busch Gardens. Think was about 40 minutes to Kings Dominion. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The property called twice to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed. My only comment was check in took a long time, you checked in and then were sent to "Concierge" who spent the conversion trying to sign you up for the timeshare presentation. The gifts for going were great so if you don't mind signing up for 90 minutes then take advantage...I passed since 90 minutes is typically 3 hours and my representative wasn't happy that I was saying no. But that is literally my only criticism.

Great place for families

Great location for stay in Colonial Williamsburg

Property was fairly clean as was the unit we stayed in. Not the cleanest VRBO place we have stayed in, but not horrible either. Walls are quite thin and we could hear noise from upstairs neighbors all night long. Check in process took 30 minutes and several "No, thank you" replies to questions regarding purchasing a membership into vacation club. The location is ideal for Colonial Williamsburg and other area attractions. Loved the deck off the living room.
