Honestly, I wasn’t expecting luxury at this price, but I was expecting a clean, safe room—which I didn’t get. We booked a smoking room and got moved to a non-smoking one because of a leak. The room was smaller than advertised, fire alarms weren’t connected, and there were no sprinklers. Jacuzzi worked after I cleaned it myself. Timer was weirdly placed in the bathroom.
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. Trash in the halls, random stuff dropped around, and a huge stain on our bed when we arrived. Instead of changing it, staff handed us sheets and left it to us. For a paid stay, that felt unacceptable.
Breakfast was terrible. It’s next to the pool, so it’s hot and humid—like eating in a sauna. Food options were Goldfish, Nature Valley bars, burnt gravy, watery eggs, no bread, and the coffee machine was always broken.
That said, the staff themselves were great—Evie in particular was super helpful and really tried to make things right. She was understanding, professional, and clearly doing her best with what she had.
The people working here aren’t the problem—it’s management or ownership not maintaining the place. Honestly, I feel like I deserve at least a partial refund. Overall unsafe and no what I really I paid for. But I will say it didn’t smell too bad of cigarettes. On floor 6.
