Property was very nice and clean. Couple negatives; a cabinet was labeled “crockpot” so we purchased food to make in a crockpot. No crockpot when we went to get it out. I should have actually looked but figured the labels were correct. Also could have had a couple extra towels as we were there for 4 nights. We would book this property again if in the area

Great Cabin!!

Had a wonderful weekend with my family celebrating my sons marathon accomplishment in Todd, my mother’s 91st bday and Mother’s Day. Cabin was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub and by the fire pit and the men had fun playing a little pool. Would definitely book this cabin again!

Wonderful Family Weekend

The property was exactly as described. Very close to West Jefferson but still very private and yes one mile to Walmart. Plenty of room to spread out for 6 adults. Large Hot Tub, Nice Pool Table, Fast Internet.

Beautiful home

We booked this home to be close to downtown West Jefferson for the Christmas in July festival. The home was very clean and spacious, allowing my family to spread out into different areas. The house is well stocked with dishes, cookware and small appliances. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.

Loved the cabin and great location too!! Those roads were surprisingly steep but Stacy from high mountain provided great supplemental instructions. Perfect for us and our pup!

Great Cabin

Guys weekend riding Harley's. Had a great time. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we wanted. We had two trailers that were a little bit of a challenge to get in the driveway but they fit. Location was close to downtown West Jefferson. Would highly recommend.

Great location with a winter view

Comfortable with enough amenities and bedrooms/bathrooms to accommodate adults and kids. Hot tub was amazing and it was nice having the fire pit close by. Fairly private but close to shopping. Kitchen was small but functional. Overall I would highly recommend.

Perfect family Christmas Getaway

Our family fit perfectly into this home that had everything! We cooked meals, played games, watched movies and enjoyed the hot tub! Taught my granddaughter to shoot pool, and were close to everything the area has to offer! Great way to get the Christmas trees!

Wonderful!!

I would give this place 10 stars! We had the best Thanksgiving! Wish we would have stayed longer. The house had everything we needed and more! I was so impressed with how clean it was. We would definitely stay here again. Only negative I would give is the tv streaming was poor but I’m sure it’s hard to get great internet in the mountains. Looking into staying there again in the future!

Perfect Relaxing Place

If your looking for a place to stay that makes you feel at home, this is it. It is both beautiful and comfortable. The view is so pretty and it is in a great location. Does have steep stairs if mobility is a concern. Over all, we had the perfect stay.

Family reunion

We stayed with my mom and brothers so we could get together with her family in Ashe county. The place was really nice, clean roomy and welcoming. Very convenient to town yet secluded. We would definitely choose it again

Not for us.

We booked this cabin because it had a fenced in yard (for our dog) and a hot tub. We wanted a cabin with a view, however settled for the cabin that gave us 2 out of our 3 requirements. The fenced in yard was missing a section of fence so our dog was not able to use the yard without being leashed. The hot tub was dirty and smelled so moldy you had to sit up out of the water and could not enjoy the relaxation of the hot tub. The cabin itself was very nice, however we could not use/enjoy the main items that brought us to choose this cabin.
