My family and I stayed at Grandma's cabin for about a week and absolutely loved everything about it. It's a spacious cabin, roomier than the pictures let on, very comfortable, and well maintained. We loved the decor and the personal touches -- see the recipe for cornbread on the inside of the big cabinet! And the cabin was immaculate -- cleaning was outstanding - both the cabin and the grounds. All you can eat huckleberries (if you're there at the right time) since the cabin is surrounded by huckleberry bushes. Full kitchen, towels, grill, board games, tv, wash machine and dryer + more. Loved it! Location was great, remote enough to feel isolated without actually being too isolated. Within 3 minute driver to Glacier Park West entrance. View from the cabin is stunning although actually going down to the water is a bit of a challenge. Owners were absolutely fantastic and were a wealth of knowledge about the cabin's history. In fact, the history of the cabin is absolutely fascinating and the opportunity to stay in a cabin that had seen so much was really special. In sum, this is a wonderful place to stay: modernized but still with a lot of character, close to Glacier, and charming in and of itself. Would come back and would not hesitate to recommend to others.
