The apartment itself was small, yet cosy. More than adequate for myself and husband, for the brief time we were in town.
The apartment was spotless, which was fantastic. The location was perfect for Walloon Lake. Literally a 7 min walk to the lake, minus the hefty price tag of being on the water.
The apartment had plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, paper towels etc. However, as we were out and about most of the time, we only used the apartment to sleep, so didn’t really make use of the kitchen facilities. It did however seem to have everything you would need to prepare a meal(s).
There was a laundry room located next to the apartment with two sets of washer dryers. One being coin operated, and the other via an app using Apple Pay or credit card. The coin operated dryer was unfortunately broken, (which I only noticed after I put the clothes in the washing machine), so my husband ended up having to download an app, (I couldn’t as I’m not American, so don’t have a US App Store), load credit onto said app using Apple Pay, just to dry clothes. We only needed one cycle, which was $2.50, but the minimum credit you could load was $10, and then you could refund back to Apple Pay, unused credit. A bit of a palaver to be honest just to dry clothes, but we got there in the end. Not the fault of the host at all, just a building issue.
Would 100% recommend the apartment and return again.
