Snow much Fun! (minus VACASA!)

This is a great place for a winter get-a-way. Dealing with VACASA as a property liaison manager left a lot to be desired. When we called about a few issues, they informed us someone would come out and no one ever did. That led to 7 of us using 1 bathroom. The instructions in the house differed greatly with what was written online as well. The house booklet listed certain things as present that were no where to be found. If these issues could be rectified, I would stay there again.

We loved our stay - the location is great and there was plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids. For the price we were paying, we were expecting a more updated space.

Ski get away

Absolutely perfect for our early 20s children on a ski weekend with us. Proximity to Mad River Glen cannot be beat. Great set up with bedrooms and kitchen is perfect and we loved the great room set up.

Easy drive to Sugarbush

House was great for two families for a ski weekend at Sugarbush. Two things would be helpful for future renters: instructions on how to lock the door (we only received instructions on how to unlock it) and instructions on how to operate the TV/cable (we eventually figured it out). Lots of towels and lots of places to hang them up (something I appreciate).

Ski house

The ski house was very enjoyable. Two downsides, the staircase is very dangerous and we were grateful the grandparents were not with us because they would not have been able to go to the first floor, a warning should be given. Also, the driveway needs a sign to make the entrance along with a request from the town to put a hidden driveway sign. We had two very close calls with people trying to pass us as we attempted to make the turn into the driveway with enough speed to make it up the incline. We are seasoned drivers in the snow and it was still very challenging. On a positive note the house was charming and had all the necessary amenities.

This place was great!! Everything in the listing is accurate the deck double fire pit fireplace inside kitchen. Everything was perfect. It is not handicap accessible nor good for elderly. There are steps to the main living area. No problem for us. Dogs loved it. Easy in easy out.

Perfect mountain getaway

We had the perfect vacation with our family! There were only 4 of us and our dog, but we loved having the extra spaced. The house was both spacious and cozy, and extremely well stocked. We cooked almost all our meals and even used the instapot. The Brita filter needed to be replaced and we were easily able to find a replacement in a cabinet. Everything was clean and exactly as presented in the listing. It had the quintessential mountain vibe we were hoping for! We loved the deck space both up and downstairs. Beds were very comfy and it was convenient have a bathroom both up and downstairs. The upstairs bathroom can only be reached by going through the upstairs bedroom, but this wasn't an issue for us. We are already looking forward to booking it again next summer!

Comfortable, well maintained home that accommodated our extended family.

A comfortable home for our immediate family--three generations, including six to eight adults and two children. The kitchen had everything we needed; the beds were very comfortable; and the entire house was exceptionally clean and well maintained.

Wonderful House

The house was very comfortable. Lots of room. The parking area was a bit challenging so go test your skills. We were expecting the washing machine to be available so we could refresh our clothes mid trip, but it did not work. Contacted the property manager and they were very accommodating with the issue. February Break

Great 5 days in Vermont. Approximately 15 minute drive to sugarbush and across the street from Madriver Glen. The house is very comfortable and convenient. Plenty of room for our family and several friends. The owners were very attentive and helpful!

Lovely time, great house!

We had a great time staying at the 'Hauck's Nest'. Charlie was a great host, and even let us check in a little bit earlier when we requested. Upon arrival, there was a basket of snacks and goodies for us to enjoy. The house was clean and had everything we needed including, towels, linens, spices, etc. It is a short distance away from Mad River Glen and a quick drive to Sugarbush as well. The house was perfect for our group and had a big open space for all of us to hang out and play board games. Our group had a blast and would definitely recommend to anyone!
