The hotel seems run down and in need of a lot of tlc. Our room was very very noisy, we heard the front door banging open and close all day and night, people were chatting outside the entrance until late, we could hear the elevator door dinging all the time, and, construction workers woke us up one morning hammering in the room next door. The upstairs guest apparently had five kids and a dog in the room. I don't know if they were having a gymnastics competition or what but they were extremely noisy for hours and late into the night. Despite complaining several times to staff nothing seemed to be done about the problem. Staff seemed more upset with me for complaining. This was not a quiet peaceful stay.
Our room itself was pretty decent. Other than the carpet coming apart, water stains on the bathroom ceiling, dirty stove burners, the shower floor was mushy and poor housekeeping. We found several items and dust under the bed and under cabinets that were not cleaned up.
We chose this place for the convenience of having a kitchen so could cook in the room. The room layout was very nice. .
Also the security measures were no longer working. The gated parking lot was open all the time and the gate did not work. The room key lock of the main entrance did not work. We had to wait for staff to come let us in. Most of the day the door was wide open and easy to access.
