Good property and location, poor management.
Vacasa sends huge amounts of emails and text messages. Make sure you read all of them, some information is not repeated later. In addition, some information is inaccurate or contradictory. Here are some tips from our stay in January 2024:
*** Before you arrive ***:
Email license plate number, with the home number (4051 Coyote Fork) in subject, line to northlaketahoevacasa@gmail.com to register for parking.
Parking:
Email to register for parking. Ignore emails which mention finding parking passes in the condo, and also hand-written note in condo which mentions getting parking passes from a different property management company. As far as we could tell there are no physical parking passes and it's not possible to get parking passes by calling or texting anyone.
Door:
Use the 4-digit code from emails/texts. However this is _not_ a code for an electronic lock as suggested. There are two lock boxes on the door frame to the right of the door. Use the four digit code on the lower lock box, which contains keys.
Wifi:
There are two set of wifi instructions included in the rental info. Use the wifi information that includes "vacasa" in the network name.
Ski trails:
When there's good snow, you have a choice of ski-in/ski-out on Coyote Fork (right next to the condo), or Condo Run (far end of the parking lot). When there isn't enough snow to ski on those, still an easy hike over to Village Run from the far end of the parking lot.
