House was well apppointed -especially the kitchen - and served us well for the extended family dinner we hosted. There is a serious problem with the mixing valve in the master shower, rendering it unusable. We had to use the other shower. One could choose all hot - too hot - or all cold. A plumber is needed.

We came into town to visit family. This rental is in a great location. We walked 1.5-2 miles for coffee. Restaurants and grocery store nearby. House is stocked well.

Perfect 3 nights before christmas

We loved our stay at this property and we would definitely plan to stay here again in summer spring and fall. It’s a wonderful neighborhood. Close to town and groceries if anything is needed.

Plumbing leak

Not sure how to contact the property host, but the master bedroom bathtub is leaking into the garage. We took showers in the master bathroom all week, but last night took a bath for the first time and then when we went into the garage to take the trash out we noticed there is a leak coming into the garage from above where the master bathtub is. We have pictures for your reference, just not sure who to send them to. Thank you.

Needs Cleaning, Maintenance, Upgrades

Needs a few things to be a higher rating than 3. Positives: Location is great. Really nice, cute neighborhood and quiet. Location is convenient to so many things. House has a good floorplan for a family stay. Negatives: This outweighed the positives for our stay and would not recommend this home for these reasons. Huge spill on the living room floor of what I guess was cleaning solution when we arrived that we cleaned up. Home was advertised with a washer/dryer. Washer was broken and when we arrived appeared to have liquid laundry detergent spilling out the front of it that had not been cleaned. Rental company did not offer to address this during our stay. Kitchen has limited cooking bowls, etc. Garbage in the bear bin outside was full from the prior renters. It was warm during our stay so we had to use the fans in the bedrooms which were so full of dust that when we turned them on our beds got coated in the mess that came down. It was pretty gross. Pillows on the beds were very thin and terrible quality. Removed the sheets prior to our departure as part of our check-out routine and based on the collection on particles at the bottom of the bed, we really wonder if the sheets were clean when we arrived. All in all, this house needs maintenance, a few upgrades, and good cleaning to be acceptable.

Nothing but problems - stay away!

The house itself is in a decent location. However, we had nothing but problems and had the worst experience with the property management company/owner. The hot water went out twice, the heater didn't work for half the stay, the water pressure was very low in the master bathroom, the cleaners did a horrible job cleaning. I could go on. Instead of making it right with all the money I paid, they would rather treat their customer awful. Stay away from this location.

Comfortable home

Nice neighbors, home was comfortable and had on the most part everything we needed. (Ice maker didn’t work properly but we were still able to get ice). Loved the extra garage refrigerator. Convenient to truckee. Great experience!!

Great Get-Away

Have leased numerous times in this neighborhood, and once again, not disappointed. This home was immaculate and had all necessities we needed. We loved the back deck and firepit. Beds were VERY comfortable. Great location to downtown as well as easy access to main highway. Only suggestions are that some pots/pans may need replacement soon - fairly worn and it would be great to have a closet available in the master bedroom to hang clothes. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Inflexible

The air quality was rated as “Hazardous” due to forest fires. Turnkey did not allow us to reschedule even though it was a natural disaster. We where restricted indoors. Turnkey repeatedly said that their “policy” would not allow any adjustments to the contract even when serious health issues where concerned. We left days early. Very frustrated with their lack of concern and inflexibility.

Great location

We were in Truckee for a golf trip and to visit Lake Tahoe. The location was perfect for us. The house was clean and as described. If you stay in the summer, know that there is no air conditioning. The rental company was very quick to respond and very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location

This property was in a perfect location for accessing a variety of activities in Truckee. Check in was easy and the place was well- equipped with everything we might need. The place was spacious and clean but could use some furniture , decor, and carpet updates. Mostly outdated vs rundown and and nothing that would keep me from returning again. In fact, we'll probably stay here again next time we visit! Great garage for outdoor adventure toys like bikes and snow stuff!

Our week in Truckee

The smoke detectors went off throughout the entire house for the first 48 hours and we lost sleep and vacation time due to dealing with the situation. While TurnKey was responsive to our inquiries they do not have a 24 hr maintenance service in town so we had to wait and endure no sleep and the smoke detectors going off (we could not disarm them and there was no breaker to flip, not to mention it was a safety issue). After 3 visits from maintenance the problem was finally resolved and our vacation was very pleasant. Unfortunately, TurnKey did not offer us commensurate compensation for the inconvenience. The property is very nice and located in a convenient area to all attractions. It met our family’s needs, once the smoke detectors were fixed. We will not rent with TurnKey due to the lack of compensation for the inconvenience.

Birthday vacation

I absolutely loved this home. We were very comfortable and it was centrally located to everything. We had a minor issue with the fireplace not starting but a technician came out pretty quickly and resolved the issue. We will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing!

What a house! Had everything i needed or wanted. Very accessible to food and all the ski areas that I wanted to go to. Turnkey is also a super management company that was great to work with all the way through the rental process. I highly recommend this house.

Great House - Great Location...poor cleanliness and supplies

The house is great along with the location but there were a few items we were disappointed in. First of all we doubt the bed in the second bedroom is a queen - it seemed smaller then that. The sheets were old and stained and the sheets in the MB didn't fit. The MB had empty chip bags behind the end table and under the bed. There really needs to be more towels - especially when you have 8 people. Same with the extra shampoo's and soaps. One week there - two paper towel rolls don't work for 8 people. We had to buy more and we ended up just leaving the extra rolls. Most homes I have rented in Tahoe have condiments like cooking oil, necessary spices etc...., not here. That may be due to COVID but not sure. Again we bought them and left them for the next family. Communication was GREAT with management. The location and the house itself was GREAT! Wouldn't take much to make it a ton better. :0)

Perfect get away week!

This was my second time staying at this house. Nice, quiet neighborhood that is close to downtown Truckee and close to ski resorts. Open floor plan on the lower level is perfect for a family to hang out together while preparing dinner. Thank you!
