Nice location and very clean. Check-in and check- out times were not inline with what you would normally expect given the rental price. Check-in at 4 pm is late and we had evening activities to attend and as such there was not much time to get ready. Same for check-out at 10 am when we had been up late the previous evening attending a wedding. Also, the comments about washing dishes, emptying trash and where to put towels was rude given that there was a cleaning fee.

Property very clean and owner left welcoming items inside. Nice to have restaurants nearby. But probably won’t stay there again. Spiral staircases in the 70s are hard to navigate. Also, tub in master suite very slippery. Almost fell 3 times. Traverse City pretty in lake, has nice downtown and many good restaurants.

We loved the property we stayed at. It was in an interesting old building, close to the downtown, that was originally a hospital and redone. It was very clean and included everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We only had one dislike which was the bed pillows provided, could use some replacements.

Worked well for us!

I knew this location, being close to town & lots of places to walk in the community. So it worked well.Communication was great & someone with MCS it worked well (no air freshners).Lots of bed options (more on the firm side). Thankful for the kitchen so we could eat in.Had great magazines of the area.Thanks again for the hosting!

Excellent location

The Commons is a great location. The building houses the Cordia senior living, controlled rent housing, the condo units and below the wonderful shops and restaurants. The grounds have more restaurants and abuts beautiful walking trails both in parkland as well as forest. There is a wonderful mix of ages about as well as lots of pet dogs. I visit an old dear friend in Cordia and will stay here again. It’s a perfect location and no car neededThe condo is just as described. Very lovely clean and comfortable. I would suggest a few more mugs to give more options on size. There is a keurig. It is very quiet and bright. The master bed is dark for sleeping without a skylight over it. A nice mix. The architecture and furnishings are industrial parts turned into lovely furniture. Comfy. A tip is that there is a hallway door on the 4 th floor where the bedroom is located. It does not have a keyless entry but one can take elevator to 4 th floor with suitcase and not have to carry suitcase up and down the spiral suitcase. ENJOY

Lovely Condo

The condo was lovely and had everything we needed. Especially enjoyed all the decorations that made the place special. Also being in the Grand Traverse Commons is great with all the shops and restaurants. We will be back!

If you love an escape room…

Like an escape room experience, you can leave this loft anytime you want. But also like an escape room, you will experience codes, lockboxes, missing items and general frustration with the check-in process. The instructions are lengthy, with many codes, and a buried code for a padlock that they supposedly texted to you an hour before check-in, but didn’t, and ominous warnings about finding and opening the lockbox the holds building key before leaving or risk being locked out, only to find an empty lockbox. And then there are the two parking permits that were supposed to be on the table. I worried that my car would be towed…but found a stack of blank permits in a drawer the next day. The property itself is fine. The building is older and has a slightly haunted feel if you like that sort of thing. There are shops and a good brunch place on the ground floor, and the key to the building ended up being on the table. The unit was clean and bright. However, the upstairs main bedroom never fell below 77 degrees F in the summer…so if you need it to be cool while you sleep you are out of luck. When I initially texted the number given, I got no response. When I sent a note through VRBO later, I started getting responses quickly and had my issues mostly resolved. It was clear, however, that this is a corporately managed unit. If you have a problem in the middle of the night, the owner will not be coming by to help you out…one of the main reasons I like VRBO.

We have stayed at this condo 3 times now and we love it. Not only is it cute and clean but it's in an amazing location! You can walk to all the shops downtown if you don't mind walking! Plus who doesn't love PepeNaro's!! Plus Red Spire! It's a win win!

Excellent Weekend Away

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and we had a great time! We loved the location of the property as it was close to shops and restaurants. The property was clean and the property owner communicated clearly and was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend to our friends!

Great atmosphere

The property was great and clean. We were told about an issue with one of the bathrooms on our day of arrival. We were a bit disappointed they never came and took care of the issue our entire stay. That being said we would still We would stay here again.

had an awesome stay

The condo was cozy and the elevator access to the top floor sure helped in not having to carry luggage up the winding staircase. Walking around building 50 and the grounds was just plain enjoyable along with the walking tour. Downtown and the water is just a short drive or medium walk.
