They were having fire alarm issues in the parking garage around 5am and they made constant announcements waking us up several times. The man speaking clearly didn't know English very well, so you didn't know what he was saying. Then ended up making an announcement but never hung up, so there was loud static and feedback blasting in our room in the early morning. I had to walk to the front desk to ask them to tell the person making the announcements to hang up the phone. I was not happy at all at this point. One announcement is fine, but three or four? Unacceptable, seriously.

Room was about 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 Celsius), no external windows, no one answering phone to front desk for help, and the room's temperature controls were broken. Elevator barely worked. I had booked 2 nights in this hellhole but ended up leaving after one and just eating the cost and staying at SoHo instead for my second night. I could barely breathe from the hot, non-circulating air and thus could not sleep. Nightmare stay.

This property is in an excellent location in China Town, downtown Toronto. Walking distance to the main attractions. Hotel is comfy, clean and quiet! Our room overlooked the shopping centre, however this is a plus, no road noise at all. Very quiet shopping centre, barely anything open inside so barely any people! Just keep the curtains closed and job done! It makes it very quiet at night with no road noise etc! Continental breakfast was an added bonus!
