I stayed at Villa Fontaine Hotel in Shinjuku for 20 nights with 2 adults in a queen bed room.
Check-in was at 3:00 PM, and check-out at 11:00 AM. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station and subway, and just 5 minutes to the heart of Shinjuku with plenty of food and things to do.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and their English was great. They even held our bags before check-in. The hotel is simple but clean, and every 3 days they did a deeper clean with new bedding, while fresh towels and water were provided daily unless you put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign. The room was spacious enough that it didn’t feel claustrophobic, and we could easily open all three of our suitcases.
Amenities included pajamas, toothbrushes, razors, face cleansers, moisturizers, green tea, and coffee. After I requested English breakfast tea, they provided a fantastic selection after over a week.
While the hotel is near busy Shinjuku, it wasn’t too noisy. If you’re out exploring, you’ll likely be too tired to notice.
For 20 days, it felt like home, and we’d definitely stay again. A big thank you to the staff!
Note: There’s no washing machine or tumble dryer, but a public laundromat is just a 2-minute walk away. It was easy to use, and the price was reasonable. We didn't have a need for parking or dining options so I don't know about those.
