There are all sorts of reviews of this property giving it a 10/10 that are clearly fake reviews especially after staying here last night. The room was a non smoking room and the smell of marijuana smoke was so thick that I had to move To another room. The new room was old, has rust all over the walls, the beds we very small and I had paid for a king bed. The bathroom was dirty and the area was not very safe feeing. Everything seemed very run down and there are many views with the same wording that give this a 10/10 that have got to be fake. I absolutely would not stay here again after this experience.

The front of the property was nice. However we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor in the back of the property, even though there were plenty of rooms still available in the front (it was 10.30 pm when we checked in). The back of the hotel was littered with junk… a ruined car seat, a baby walker, old headboard). The beds were okay and clean. I had requested a king bed but was asked if I was okay with two beds instead. When I said that it was okay, I didn’t realize that we were given two double beds - I assumed two queen beds. The bathroom was abysmal, old and stained. The lid to the toilet was a piece of plywood, painted white that lifted up every time it flushed.

The room we were rented was totally worn out. There wasn't even a phone in it. Peeling ceiling in the bathroom hanging down 6inches long. Room front window looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Dead knats piled up next to the toilet. A double room equipped with one bath towel and a tiny bar of soap-nothing else. I can only hope the front side rooms are better then what we found. Rougher (almost) than a night in jail.

That picture they use does not reflect reality of the property. It is in a sketchy neighborhood, the room was nasty, the towels were stained and I am pretty sure I heard gunshots at 2 am. If this was not the worst room I ever stayed in it is pretty close.

As another reviewer has mentioned, for the price point this hotel was adequate. No weird smells in the room. Had to request additional towels and pillows. Mattresses could use an upgrade - the existing ones are very uncomfortable. An upgrade on the pillows and towels wouldn't hurt either. The room was reasonably clean, but attention should be paid to corners, baseboards and behind/under the TV and beds. Bathroom was clean, though dated. The grout around the tub should be redone. The tub handle was weird and it took several minutes to get the water temperature adjusted. Once adjusted, there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. No breakfast is offered, but there is free coffee. Close to shopping and restaurants. Expect road noise since this property is right off I-75. Check in was quick, the clerk was friendly. It appears the owners are working to upgrade the rooms and property. We would stay here again - we travel with two dogs so Motel 6 is our go-to for pet friendly hotels.
