Here are some important points you need to know before you book here1) The road is exceptionally difficult. Not only is it unpaved, but full of ruts, and holes. My wife fell walking down the road, and broke her phone. If you have any mobility issues, you absolutely need to take a golf cart. 2) The property listed two golf carts included. On checkin, one golf cart was not available and the other had broken rear seats.3) you absolutely should rent your own 4x4 ATV here.4) Not mentioned in the listing, but we were informed you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilets and bins are provided in each bathroom to put used TP. While this is common in some places in Costa Rica, not all villas have this issue.5) There are two spin bikes pictured in the photos, however they are broken and can't be used (one is stuck on lowest resistance, the other on the max resistance)6) The pool filtering shuts off at 730PM, which means if you want to use the pool after hours, it accumulates debris and you lose the infinity effect. 7) We lost water one day for 7 hours. While this is common in CR, the issue is the villa has their own dedicated back up tanks which were EMPTY. This is the property manager issue not doing a good job.8) The pre arrival booking process is great, the owners really care, but the on location concierge isn't great. On day one, reported a broken toilet seat in the MBR, and slow shower drain in one of the rooms. Was never addressed during my stay.
