Cabaña de madera acogedora y bien equipada en una ubicación conveniente y tranquila, a pocos minutos a pie (o en coche) del centro de atracciones de Talkeetna. Very nice. Good location but need car unless walking is your thing. Bedrooms up steep stairs. Nice but if mobility issues be careful. Did not need anything. Hosts very good.

Nice cabin

Overall, the cabin was nice and accommodating. There were some unappealing stains on the sofa. I had difficulty communicating to confirm our reservation - got no response. Other than that, check-in was fine. There was a point that I felt like we were being watched by the property manager - which gave me an uneasy feeling. My husband and I used the hot tub (very nice). It was not covered when we got in, so it slipped our mind to cover it upon exiting. Shortly thereafter, I received a personalized text saying “I’m glad you and your husband enjoyed the hot tub, but please cover it.” We went out to cover the tub but saw that it had already been covered. This is not that big of an issue, but admittedly the personalized text and the timing of it creeped me out. Sending a general reminder text stating that “all guests should cover the hot tub after use” would have been a better option, IMO.

Comfortable and quaint. Be mindful the stairs are na soairs are narrow and steep. Basic base camp with a delightful communial square.

Alaska stay

The cabin was quite quaint and completely furnished including a kitchen and laundry facilities. Our host, Drew was very helpful in some of the questions we had. One note is the staircase to the upper level is narrow so you may want to leave your suitcases on the first level if big and heavy.

Quiet, Basic Stay

Quiet neighborhood a short drive from town. Very basic level furnishings, from furniture to kitchen to bath, all in need of some updating as it felt tired and drab. Lighting was dark, warm without windows open and no ceiling or floor fans. The price was probably fair for one night, reflecting the quality. I would choose one of the newer units across the way (shared hot tub) on the next stay.
