While I was searching for a room for my visit with my sons who live in the area, there were regular rooms that were $300+ dollars. I ended up getting a suite with two king size beds, a fireplace, and a walk-in closet for half that amount. Felt sort of silly using such a big room for just myself, but there would’ve been no way I would pay that kind of money for a night at the Inn at Gig Harbor. It is a decent hotel with friendly staff and the airport shuttle picking up and dropping off, but I feel like it’s time for an upgrade in a lot of areas. New carpeting is needed, fresh coats of paint throughout, and I think a redo for the lobby and breakfast area. I do feel like the hotel is clean and that is critically important.

We were warmly greeted in the checkout check-in process was super easy. The building itself looks like it’s in great condition and actually has a pretty good location. There’s a neat Irish pub across the street which unfortunately I didn’t get to visit as well as a cidery basically in the parking lot. My major complaint simply comes from the bed. It was terribly uncomfortable and I did not sleep well at all. Being as that’s a primary reason for staying at a hotel that’s why I’m rating it lower. I would trade the warm breakfast and the warm cookies for a nice bed.
