We had an amazing family vacation at Dowling Lake Lodge to celebrate my nephews 30th birthday! The property was fabulous and a great location with a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes drive with great food and takeout. The property was even better in person than in the pictures, and the owners were very friendly and responsive. Five stars and would highly recommend! We would stay here again next time we’re in the area.

We had 15 people, 10 adults 5 kids in our group and had a Wonderful time. Lake was perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and tubing with the kids. Plenty of room in the house for sleeping, cooking and games. I would recommend this house for larger groups.Thank Yoy Brian and Karen for sharing your home

Fun at the Lake

Family get away

It was a wonderful cabin. Clean and very quaint! Large enough to accommodate 15 people very comfortably! Great game room! Nice size lake with paddle boat and kayaks! Gas station close by for needs of my sorts. Would definitely recommend staying here. The owners were very nice.

Family gathering with lake fun

Gorgeous house with easy access to the lake for fun and relaxation in and on the water. We loved the large table for gathering in the evenings, and lots of separate bedrooms for privacy for all.

WONDERFUL experience

A large group of my family and friends stayed here to celebrate my graduation. It was the perfect location for a relaxing celebration. My nephews enjoyed swimming in the water and taking the paddle boat for a ride. The adult enjoyed grilling and spending time around the fire pit. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Absolutely amazing!!

We were looking for a place with ample bedrooms, bathrooms and hang out space for our large and growing family. This is the perfect place for a large group!! The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable! The detached game room was awesome and gave us space to spread out a bit. We will definitely be back :)

A fun winter getaway!

Our entire group was blown away at the location and amenities for this house. We had six couples stay for the whole weekend and there was room aplenty for everyone. The kitchen was a dream to kitchen. We hope to book again here in the summer for the guys to go fishing!

Great Property

My family had at a great time at the lake! We loved the big dining room table for game nights, and the back deck table for outdoor hanging! There were quite a few bees on the property, but the manager was quick to respond with where some spray was located in the house we could use. Note, one of the bedrooms is located within another bedroom, not a huge deal but good to know.

We had 12 members of our family stay at this property. The kitchen was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The lakeshore was inviting. The house was clean and we felt safe.

Very nice getaway but very pricey.

—It is a beautiful home and setting. —Fit our group of ten nicely, in terms of sleeping arrangements, kitchen, and living room. —The game room and outdoor games are nice features. —WiFi was appreciated. —The water craft items were nice to have and the lake was clean and small, but large enough for the water toys. —Small trash cans in the bedrooms would have been nice. —It should be made clear that there is only one shower in the lodge. One shower is difficult for large groups. —The upstairs common bathroom sink was mostly plugged. —The floors were not swept well, especially under furniture and in corners. —The upstairs bedroom with the 2 trundle beds had an odd smell. —It wasn’t very clean under and around the master bath vanity. —The lodge is very nice, but the cost per night (including all the fees and add-ons) is a very high price for the features that the lodge has.

A great stay

Enjoyed the family fishing and canoeing. Liked the game room with mosquito net. Relaxing and nice kitchen. Enjoyed the deer and fawns in the morning and evenings. The bathroom on the first floor is large enough for a nice shower and the first floor bedroom is large enough for a queen size bed. The fireplace looks good too bad we couldn’t use it. We did leave two life jackets for kids for you.

Great Ski Retreat

The space is perfect for families wanting to get away on a winter ski retreat! Very family friendly space that's easily adaptable to your group's needs! Brian was fast and easy to communicate with! Game room is fun, and gets toasty even during the heart of winter!

Wonderful escape

I can’t begin to explain how wonderful this property is. We celebrated our parents anniversary as a family here. The rooms were quiet for privacy, the kitchen was spacious for cooking and laughing, the family room was perfect for movies and dining. We watched the sun rise over the snow covered lake each morning while enjoying the comfy furniture and a hot cup of coffee . The game room was a nice bonus and the wi-fi is reliable. We had no inconveniences but when we had questions , the hosts got back to us right away for everything we needed. We will definitely go back and enjoy the lake in summer. The Amnicon Bar has a great breakfast when you don’t want to cook and want a tasty beverage btw …. Thanks again !

Great views and fun for everyone

This was the perfect place. My family of 6 along with my parents and my sister stayed. Every person enjoyed their visit. Which is saying a lot with 4 kids. The views were magnificent, the property was immaculate, and the gameroom was a HUGE hit (with the kids and adults). My parents repeatedly remarked how they would love to come back. And we would as well. We are looking forward to our next stay.
