We had a good time overall, and the home met our basic needs for the trip. However, it was not worth the cost, and it is not a place we would return to.A significant safety concern was the outdoor, uncovered stairs leading to the downstairs area. When it rained, the stairs became extremely slippery, and my husband almost fell twice. This should be addressed.The hot tub was also a major disappointment. When we arrived, it was cold and needed to be reset, despite receiving messages that it was ready. It also seemed as though it had not been cleaned for some time. It smelled like a fish tank, and the bottom/seats felt slimy, so we were not comfortable using it.We were only provided 6 towels for 6 people for 3 nights, and I had to justify the need for additional towels, which was upsetting. There were also no extra blankets.The layout was not what we expected based on the photos. The downstairs area has a separate entrance accessed from outside, and the 2nd bathroom is downstairs. This meant the 3 bedrooms upstairs only had 1 bathroom for 6 people unless we went outside and downstairs.There was no TV in living room. The only screen option was a projector downstairs, which was not ideal with kids.The home is in the woods, which was peaceful, but the view was mostly trees rather than mountains. There was also no table on the deck, which would have been nice.Overall, we made the best of it, but the experience did not match the price point or expectations.
