On the VRBO website, the pictures of the property did not reflect its current condition. Some of the lounge and the patio furniture were badly stained and grubby and as such we would not use them.The patio and the pool area were disappointing. Whilst the pool was acceptable, the surrounding area was sparse and unclean, with no sun loungers other than 3 small plastic chairs. The undercover patio dining set and carpet were badly stained and dirty, needing a good steam clean. The whole exterior area was generally uninviting and depressing, so we did not use it.On arrival, we were met with problems in both bathrooms. The hand basins and the bath/shower wastes discharged thick black gunk when used. As a result, the owner sent a plumber to remove, what turned out to be, a large amount of black mouldy hair balls from all plugholes. Later on that week, one of the toilet cisterns stopped working for the rest of our stay.The sheets on the beds looked old, discoloured and un-ironed. This was most unwelcoming.The kitchen was generally OK, apart from the absence of any drinking glasses for use indoors. We found the oven problematical. Fortunately, without a manual present, we found the solution online before we needed to call the owner.We would not recommend this property to be let again until thoroughly cleaned with much of the soft furnishing replaced.
